Hello everyone, new to this group and loving surrounding myself with like minded people now. Lost in the mayhem and stress, i gave up my computer networking job last year to become a natural therapies practitioner. ADORE my life since, but after studying it comes to actually practicing. Love it but the old self doubts now creeping in to pull me back, so big time of wonderful change but amazing how we pull ourself back from that. Feeling the fear and doing it anyway. this past weekend, I was recovering from a terrible fever, temp up to 102+ two days in a row. Chills like ice shooting through your body, and inferno when you finally get warm. And no sleeping position was comfortable. On the first night of my fever, a new YN just dropped on YT, and for the first time, I found out how yoga nidra could be more than just a practice for better rest. As I followed this meditation, I was finally able to lay with the pain and not in it, finding stillness and comfort as my fever tried to break. Here is the link to that YT. Recently, I had some very interesting news. It was fascinating to observe the emotions that arose as I heard it. I will admit some of the emotions really took over me! But I looked out to the big great sky, and I asked for help. All of a sudden, the pieces of the puzzle started to come together. And now, by some divine intricate order, I’m going back into the wilderness this weekend.. Although I won’t be able to be as present here over the next three days, I truly hope that you all take care of each other, spread kindness, spread love, and, most of all, discover deep rest. This is always a time of year that is very reflective for me. I often think about the last 365 and what really could be celebrated, what huge lessons I’ve learned, and how I can move forward from a heart-centred place. Sometimes I don’t understand in the moment why I feel called to take a left instead of a right or a right instead of a left but somehow I still end up back here in the center. For those of you who can feel a shift in the air…Enjoy the breeze, enjoy all of the changes, for all we know that’s the only constant.
