Day 40!!!!
Morning Fellas! We made it! 40 Days! In the foot notes of my Bible it says- Remaining in Christ means (1) believing that he is God’s Son (1 John 4:15), (2) receiving him as Savior and Lord (John 1:12), (3) doing what God says (1 John 3:24), (4) continuing to believe the gospel (1 John 2:24), and (5) relating in love to the community of believers, Christ’s body (John 15:12). This Boot Camp has helped me build a habit of remaining in Jesus daily and I believe it has in other men who have been going through this study also. I can see the fruit your lives and it is apparent. Don’t let your daily habit you’ve built during this Boot Camp fade. Make sure to find something else. In John 15:4 Jesus says- Remain in me and I will remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. Have a great day Men!

Day 38 & 39
I must admit these past 2 days have been rough at work. Finding legit time to study has been difficult. In these times I still read and pray but can’t sit down to dedicate an hour to dig in. With that being said I want to provide encouragement to those who are in the same spot at times. Although we can’t “dig in” due to life sometimes, we can have our hearts and thoughts dedicated to Jesus throughout the day while committing the scriptures to our heart. Then the overwhelming peace of Christ that surpasses all understanding comes in to calm the storm. Hope that makes sense. Y’all have a blessed day sharing the gospel through our words and actions!!

The struggle is real for me as well and sometimes I have to dig in a little deeper and proceed. God sees our hearts and knows our thoughts and words before we do. Don’t stress and let the devil win, hold your heads up high and know Gods got us. Come to the table and ask for Gods help and favor in our lives. Love you guys, this is part of the process, knowing others have the same issues and we can help to encourage one another!
Blessings
This group of men and this challenge has truly been a blessing for me to be a part of with each and every one of you!

Quiet time with God overlooking the Amazon River
Day 25
God has brought me a long way with controlling my temper, than how I used to be. I did more than fly off the handle unfortunately and thank God I'm not locked up or in the ground already. I think what made it so easy is because I was living without limits or any self control, therefore it was a release of everything I had bottled up. And man I guess I had a lot bottled up. Then tied with more bad choices like alcohol or drugs would cause things to spiral even more out of control. Thank God He has delivered me from that pain. That isn't my life anymore. Although I still have moments where I feel screaming on the inside, I know I have Jesus to get me through those more rare times. But I don't go looking to put myself in situations that would cause these outcome. Also I think God gave me a son to practice what Jesus has taught us. Like a practice dummy. Ya'll know I love Ben, but if you know me I'm hard on him too. But in the last 3 years since I've been saved, I've been able to show him more love, patience, and mercy. Even when my past self would've dialed up extreme consequences to Ben's challenges he's given me. Thank God I'm not that person anymore.

Thanks for sharing Jeremy, I think that’s really great stuff and not easy to come clean to men and be open about our own selves.
