Today was the regular 5am start catching on a video call with friends from around the world. I really look forward to the call and love catching up with all who join in. During and after the call I have my regular parental duties in helping get my daughters ready for school and helping make lunch. It is then everyone out the door and off to their regular days, mine however starts differently this week, I was made redundant as of Friday past and today is the first time since 2 August 1993, the day I joined the Navy, that I have not had a full time job to go to. If you include my jobs before joining the navy as a Pizza Boy and a Paper Boy I have held a Jon since 1988. Grabbed my linen mossy colored shirt I recently bought from my friend Steve Giles and my tan Gaberdine double forward pleated trousers. Added pantherella socks, o ring belt, 1982 Waxhide Cole Haans and my Seiko model 5 for church today. Shedding the outfit as I hear the call….the call of the nap💤
