LinkedIn Masterclass Questions n More...
Thank you Erin for putting together the meeting and the materials for us to utilize for our LinkedIn page and what to do from there to gain visiblity. I do have a few questions, concerns and just have some duh moments. I've attahced the banner that I created. Per the meeting you shared we should include contact details; so my guess is I should include my email address in the banner? Here are my questions/challenges I landed a full-time job, I'm grateful for this new journey but the pay isn't ideal. Anyhow, with that said, my hours are 8:30a - 5p EST Mon - Fri and then on top of that, I work a 2nd job 6p-11p Mon-Fri. My goal is to build clientele so that I can leave the 2nd job. 1. How would share my availability when I have such a tight schedule or even do a meeting to get to know the potential client? What are some recommendations because I'm stressing over here 😫 2. How do I locate businesses that will not require that 8-5 Mon-Fri schedule? 3. In the meeting you mentioned liking/following small business owner, CEO, etc. seeing what they post and interacting with the posts. You said pay attention to things they may be struggling with or something they may need help with a better process. I must be following the wrong people and my for you page must not be showing me the right thing, or maybe I don't know what to look for, but how do I go about finding these type of people or businesses and what would be some key things to look for that would give me some insight that they may need a help with a process or support. 4. I'm just starting so I don't have a "who do you serve" to include. I know you provided some headlines we can use and tweak accordingly but i feel lost. I feel like I had some other questions earlier but I can't think of them at the moment. I will post any more questions as they come to mind. In the meantime, please give me feedback on my banner. I will share my LinkedIn page once I have it formatted accordingly. Thank you in advance for your time and help. 😊

@Erin Booth and other fellow VA's please take a look at my LinkedIn page. Its still a work in progress but this is what I have so far. Please share feedback. My feelings will not be hurt. My profile pic is currently an AI version of me which I did some months ago. I will be working on getting a "Real" picture of myself. That pic does represent how I look, I just have short hair now. I'm still working on the Services section but this is so fat my set up. I haven't added it to my experience section yet as well. https://www.linkedin.com/in/gwendaline-daniels05/ Thanks in advance for your time and help 😊

I had Claude help me with a work sample since I don’t have any clients or a portfolio to put in my features page yet. This is what Claude helped me with. Is this something I should put in the features section as a work sample?
Your holding-the-line script
A client says: "That's more than I wanted to spend." What do you say next? Word for word. Post your actual script below. Not the theory. Not what you'd like to say. The exact words you use, or the words you wish you had in that moment. I'll start. "I completely understand. This is the rate I charge for this scope because of the outcome it delivers, not the hours it takes. If the budget is the constraint, I'm happy to look at a smaller starting scope so we can work together at a level that makes sense for both of us." Steal freely from everyone else's answers. That's the whole point. The person who's been in this situation ten times has already figured out what works. Let them save you the awkward silence. Drop yours below. 👇

I hear you, and I want to make sure this is a fit for your budget too. Here's the thing — my pricing is built around the level of experience I bring, not just time spent, so it tends to save you more than it costs long-term. If the full package is more than you want to start with, we could begin smaller — say, 10 hours a month instead of 20 — and revisit once you see the difference it makes.

Hey Y'all! I hope everyone is doing great. I've been somewhat MIA as I was busy moving 2 of my daughters into college. Whew that was exhausting and now I'm adjusting to the house being really quiet 🥺. I'm now back to get cranking on completing the Blueprint and learning more for the community and Erin. I finshed my logo and company name. Let me know what y'all think 🤔. I have been applying to FT positions. I'm still awaiting the yay or nay on an interview I had which I should know by next week. If I were to get a FT job during the day what companies or group of individuals should I target? These are the list of services I'd like to provide. I'm sure the list is long and as time goes on this will decrease in some areas and evolve in others. Admin Support - Calendar and scheduling - Inbox management and email organization - Document prep, formatting, and organization Customer & Client Support - Email/ticket management (Zendesk, Freshdesk) - Escalation handling and complaint resolution - Ongoing customer care coordination Hiring & Onboarding Support - Job posting and candidate screening support - Interview scheduling - New hire onboarding and document follow-up - Applicant tracking updates Operations, SOP's & Process Improvement - Auditing and improving disorganized processes - Team training material creation - Onboarding/checklist material creation - SOP and knowledge base documentation I'm open to any feedback, suggestions, tips y'all can provide 😊
