One of the biggest shifts I made in my business was realizing I didn't have to grow my audience one person at a time. I could get in front of audiences that already exist. That's where collaborations come in. But instead of randomly applying for everything you see, try this: Before saying YES to a collaboration, ask yourself 3 things: 1️⃣ Are MY people in this room? The audience matters more than how big the event is. 2️⃣ Does this help me grow what I actually want to grow? Email list? Visibility? Authority? Relationships? Sales? Different collaborations can do different jobs. 3️⃣ Do I have a clear next step for the people who find me? A great freebie. Your email list. Your community. An offer. Somewhere for that borrowed attention to GO. That's the part people sometimes miss. Getting in the room isn't the strategy by itself. It's: Right room → right people → right next step. And once you get comfortable getting into other people's rooms? You can take it one step further and build the room yourself — host the bundle, summit or collaborative event and bring multiple audiences together around you. So if you need more traffic right now, don't automatically think: “I need to post more.” Ask: “Whose audience should I be getting in front of?” 👀🔥 --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- YOUR TURN 👇 Have you used collaborations to grow your audience yet? If YES — what have you tried? A summit, bundle, podcast, swap, guest training, something else?
