SOTN: POLO 67 EXTREME
Had to go into several offices in Northern Arizona, and with the weather sitting around 60-64 degrees, I wanted something inoffensive with some heft. Something appropriate for close quarters, but with enough body for the cooler weather. I already own the EDT and EDP, so Polo 67 is familiar territory. Extreme takes that fruity direction into a richer space, with pineapple, cedarwood and a leather accord giving it a little more weight. Still approachable, just with a warmer foundation. For this kind of outing, performance needs to be balanced. I want staying power and a noticeable presence, but I don’t need my fragrance introducing itself to the entire office before I do. The goal is enough projection to be enjoyed nearby, with some substance as it settles. That was the thinking behind tonight’s choice: easy to wear, office appropriate with a sensible application, and enough heft for a cool Northern Arizona evening. Sometimes an approachable designer fragrance is exactly what the occasion calls for. - Longevity: roughly 6-9 hours on skin, about 2 hours more when added to clothing. - Projection: noticeable for about 1-3 hours, then closer to the skin. - Sillage: moderate it left a noticeable scent trail rather than a room-filling cloud. Just what I needed to get me through late afternoon 2 meetings through this evening.

I absolutely love the scent dna but found the performance of the edt and EDP abysmal…have yet to try extreme.

@Ben E I liked the EDT better than the EDP.

“How long it takes always differs – because I work to very tight deadlines! But when I have been developing a personal brand it may take me up to eight years because of course they have to be perfect.” — Azzi Glasser Some responsibilities demand speed; the things closest to your heart may deserve patience. Learn which season you are in: meet the deadline when necessary, but give your deepest goals enough time, care, and refinement to become what you know they can be. Enjoy the #Journey. Love to hear from ya’!

Wow!

So this is only the second unboxing video that I've made. It's the most expensive fragrance that I've purchased thus far. The presentation wasn't very fancy, but the bottle is absolutely gorgeous! One thing that I've noticed after doing a side by side with my 2 year old decant is that the decant is just a bit stronger, but the scent profile is pretty much identical. So I'm wondering if this has been reformulated, or could it just be a maturation process? I'm still quite happy to have scored this for $339 I'd really love to hear your opinions on this!

It is beautiful, however, for some reason I prefer the OG. Enjoy!
Dior Sauvage Extrait full review
I've spent a decent amount of time with this fragrance, been meaning to do this review for a while. Let's go! ----- Perfumed by: Francis Kurkdjian Concentration: 49.75% per Dior ----- SAUVAGE The line is absolutely iconic. Every flanker is great in my opinion (except Eau Forte, we don't talk about Eau Forte). ----- Presentation: Size is 50ml. Designers are getting pricey these days, it retails for $205. The bottle is nice. Dark enough to look inky, light enough to be able to see the juice level. Seems like they might've drawn some inspiration from the ADG Elixir bottle. ----- Scent Profile: It's a room filler. Immediately. Extremely woody/oudy, smoky, and slightly animalic. I'm no oud expert, but it smells like real oud to me. Quality is very high. It smells like it has a little tobacco and incense as well, even though those notes are not listed. I love it! It's not my usual or favorite scent profile, but this is nice! It gives me the vibes of pouring blue shower gel all over a layer of burning chips of oud. That blue ambroxan DNA mixed with that smoky oud is to die for. It has a dense, thick bergamont and lavender that works great with the other notes, but the bergamont goes away within the first 15-30 minutes from my experience. It's a damn shame, because that dense bergamont note works so well. People say that it smells in the same style of Amouage Royal Tobacco and Creed Oud Zarian; I haven't smelled either, so I wouldn't be able to give any thoughts on that. It definitely has the bones of Sauvage Elixir though in my opinion. And also what it reminds me of, is Layton Exclusif. I think it's the way the oud comes across. --- Performance: As somebody who usually over sprays, I have to warn y'all, do NOT spray this more than 3 or 4 times MAX. 1-2 is enough for most people. The rumors are true. Performance wise, this makes Sauvage Elixir look like an edt. This projects loud for 5+ hours and lasts until the next day. Officially beast mode. ----- Layering ideas: I was watching ATH's review on this, and he mentioned how he feels like there isnt't really a top note to this fragrance. I would agree, but instead of a missing top note, I find it to be more like the other notes completely drown the top notes. The oud, the cedar, etc.

I love Sauvage Parfum and Sauvage Elixir. My wife bought this for me for Christmas…I am hopeful but a little concerned I won’t love it like the others.
