It's so good to see you here again. 😊 For those of you who haven't met Alice, she's a math professor, manifestation coach, and the woman behind Law of Attraction Book Club. And of course, I had to go see what she's been up to. 😂 I found something on her About page that I absolutely love... “Read less. Apply more. Manifest for real.” Alice, you know that speaks my language! She's helping women take what they're learning from books and put it into practice in their everyday lives. Not just more reading, more information, or more things to add to the to-do list. Little steps that actually mean something. I love that she's making room for people to start wherever they are, without feeling like they're already behind. Alice, we've got some catching up to do! 😂 I'd love to hear how things are going with you and the Book Club. I've been thinking about something I want us to revisit together. ❤️ We have a space here called In the Build, and I don't think we've fully explored just how valuable it can be for all of us. In fact, Todd and I see it as the heartbeat of Skoolology. Here's why. Most of us spend a lot of time working on our communities. Creating content, making decisions, trying new things, figuring out what's working and what isn't. And so much of that happens on our own. But what if we didn't have to figure everything out by ourselves? That's what In the Build is for. It's a place to bring the real things you're working through. Not just the finished products or the exciting announcements, but all the messy, interesting, sometimes frustrating stuff that happens along the way. 😂 🔨 What can you bring here? Pretty much anything connected to building your community! ❤️ Something you're working on. An About page, a welcome experience, a new offer, a course, an event, or an idea you're still shaping. 💡 A decision you're wrestling with. Sometimes talking it through with someone else helps us see what we've been missing. 👀 Something you'd like feedback on. Another set of eyes can make a world of difference. 🎉 Something that's working! Your successes and discoveries can help the rest of us, too. 🤝 Something you know how to help with. You don't have to be the one asking a question. Your experience might be exactly what another builder needs. And here's something I especially love about that last one. When you help someone else, we get to see what you know and what you're good at. That's how we begin recognizing the experience and expertise sitting right here among us. Friendships grow. Trust develops. Collaborations and referrals become possible. And the whole community gets stronger. ❤️ But there's another piece I don't want us to miss. Coming back to share what happened. Maybe you asked for feedback on your About page and made a change. Maybe you tried a new onboarding approach.

Hey all! I wanted to stop by with a little update on hosting my first summit inside my Skool community, The AI MAP Room. There’s a lot I’m already grateful for, and a few things I would approach differently next time. And what better place to share those lessons than with other Skool founders?! 𝗔 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 𝗜’𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿: 𝗢𝗻𝗲: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗽 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸. Planning, speaker communications, classroom setup, promotional materials, graphics, emails, links... every finished piece seems to introduce three more things that need doing. 😂 I knew it would be work. I underestimated how much. The good news is that I’m building the framework and templates as I go, so a future summit should be easier to put together. 𝘔𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺: 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘳, 𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘳𝘰𝘰𝘮 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘶𝘴𝘦. 𝗧𝘄𝗼: 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗴𝘆. This has probably been my biggest lesson. I over-committed myself to a lot of other engagements on top of putting together and running my own summit. That on-top of all the work means I’m more tired at the end of each day, and I’ve had less energy for the interactions and live sessions I love inside my community. I’ve also been less present in other communities where I enjoy connecting and collaborating, including this one. The posts are still happening. But being present takes more than having content scheduled. 𝘕𝘦𝘹𝘵 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦, 𝘐 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘴𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘺 𝘮𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘪𝘵𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘵𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘴𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘴𝘱𝘢𝘤𝘦 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳 𝘤𝘰𝘯𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘴. 𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲: 𝗦𝗽𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝗵𝘂𝗴𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗳𝗶𝗰 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿. Having speakers introduce the summit to their own audiences has been one of the biggest benefits. You’re reaching new members through people they already know and trust, which is a lovely way for them to discover your community. It’s also shown me how much promotion can happen through collaboration. Paid ads can be an option, but they don’t have to carry the whole event. 𝘔𝘺 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘢𝘸𝘢𝘺: 𝘮𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺-𝘵𝘰-𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘱𝘺, 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘴, 𝘭𝘪𝘯𝘬𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴.
