There’s something burning in my mind, day and night: The Space Left Behind, a short film based on a story by Clarice Lispector, set in present-day Los Angeles. It’s a woman-centered psychological drama with the depth, intuition, and rich inner life that draw me to Clarice’s writing. Between casting, putting a team together, figuring out the budget, and all the other pre-production pieces, my brain apparently thinks sleep is optional! I’d love to connect with people who are drawn to this kind of storytelling. Come follow the film as we figure out how to bring it to life—and if you’re making yours too, let’s cheer each other on. So I'm sharing this as a breakout, do something scared and commited to a live interview at a recent event in my home town called the Caravan & Camping Show 2026.. I was approached by the organisers media and social manager while I was setting up and mid selling my wife's homemade BBQ Sauces and yeah I just said no worries I'll give it a go..... No prep, no Script or Elevator Pitch Just off the cuff and raw Live IRL on the action of it all. 🫪 I had no idea what I was sounding like it just came from the heart and I fell in love with that moment ♥️ sharing here to inspire the 1 person on the fence to tell them they deserve to be here and give it go even when you don't feel like it or don't fell ready! you got this and to all my cheerleaders here I salute and thank you for all your support. peace from Ricky ✌️😎🔥🦘 https://www.instagram.com/reel/DdfQq2mCv9e/?stkn=dGY3MmN6bW16NXpw
