Hey Y'all! I hope everyone is doing great. I've been somewhat MIA as I was busy moving 2 of my daughters into college. Whew that was exhausting and now I'm adjusting to the house being really quiet 🥺. I'm now back to get cranking on completing the Blueprint and learning more for the community and Erin. I finshed my logo and company name. Let me know what y'all think 🤔. I have been applying to FT positions. I'm still awaiting the yay or nay on an interview I had which I should know by next week. If I were to get a FT job during the day what companies or group of individuals should I target? These are the list of services I'd like to provide. I'm sure the list is long and as time goes on this will decrease in some areas and evolve in others. I woke up sick today, and in a few minutes, I'm heading into a 5-hour back-to-back client meeting. Normally I'd just move it. I own my VA business, so no client can force me to work through an illness. 👀 But today there's truly no rescheduling it. So I'm doing damage control with tea, water, and snacks staged at my desk, and a tissue box tucked out of camera view. The second that call ends, laptop closed, straight to bed. Your turn! What's your go-to move when you have to show up sick and there's no getting out of it? No work, no pay! Since I charge flat fees, I technically do get paid the same amount whether I take sick time off or not. Just something to consider as you start pricing your own services.

"Don't keep me a secret" - Mike used this when telling people about his business, asking them to refer him. He said he learned this from an advisor years ago and used it successfully when working in financial services. 2. "Let me sit with this and come up with a customized plan" - Use this phrasing as a way to handle client requests when you need time to research or figure out the solution. Using phrases like "customized" comes across as high end phrasing that signals expertise without pretending to know everything upfront 🙌
