My accountability for the week, and the next six weeks, is to complete my Transformational Coaching certification. There are six modules remaining, and so I need accountability for completing one module per week.

$83k in MRR was my IMPOSSIBLE GOAL for 2026. When I get the most recent 12-month engagement signed, I will surpass that. And in the last 12 months, btw. And I haven't even figured out how to sell and market myself yet. Once that happens, it's no longer growth; it's scaling. (WE ALL NEED TO LEARN THE DIFFERENCE) Pictured is a small group that shows up every week. The breakthroughs happening are 10x what we had when we started this group nearly 3 years ago. (I'll let the others share their breakthrough stories.) I would really love to see or hear about your progress, or lack thereof, for those of you who haven't been to calls in weeks or months. This group has helped me because I've been facilitating for 3 years and practicing the principles we've been teaching — this stuff really works… My word for the year was "IDENTITY." I've been realizing that I belong in the big boardrooms with the world's largest companies, and I've been operating from that lens. This is so meaningful bc I thought getting to $83k in MRR was the ticket, and then I could do all the things I want to do, but in reality, that’s not how it works. But that IMPOSSIBLE GOAL will change. The next step is $100k/month, but should the IMPOSSIBLE GOAL BE $150k/month? What's insane to me is that on Dec 2, 2023, the day I met Dr. Benjamin Hardy at the airport after our final Q4 Challenge meeting, my Monthly Recurring Revenue was $0. He said, "Most people let life happen to them, not for them. How can you make life happen for you, Clegg? Commit." LIFE CHANGING Where are you living a "default future?" Where are you NOT committing? What breakthroughs have you experienced that you can share where someone else could learn from you? @Barbara St Jean @Dawn Apuan @Tracy Clark @Chaz Horn @Km Belnap @Abigail Ababio @Kuldeep T @Kavan Balasuriya @Joe Travaglione @Michelle Wilson @Sheida Guilak @Marialexandra Garcia @Jon Hord @Rosemary Kimani @Toby Thomas

Amazing, @Michael Clegg . Thank you for the callout, and it's super inspiring to see your progress. I've missed you guys on the weekly calls, and I'll be there from tomorrow. I've recently been realising the nature of bottlenecks and have been committing to clearing both the hidden and the obvious ones. Of course, doing this alone doesn't get me far, but they're holding everything up. That's been a recent 20% breakthrough for me: clearing my bottlenecks is the most impactful thing I can do to get things properly moving again because everything is a total compounded mess right now. Other than that, I've burned my boat by launching my artist coaching group–that's a positive driving force, and I'll be fully committing to it. It's helped me see that Ben Hardy's work is just one input into the world of (coaching) psychology, and that there's much more to apply to my working thesis on the psychology of sustained artistic practice. A lot of what we do here is being very effective over there. It's not monetised yet, but plans and models are in place for a full launch in January. I haven't progressed much on the writing front, and I doubt that'll be profitable, but it's an important part of the process. I have a couple of unpaid but significant writing gigs coming up for partners I never would have imagined myself writing for. And those connections came out of the coaching group, which is great. This coaching community brings me new relevance, connections, and support in the art world that weren't there previously. And it's going to expand my existing, already sizeable CRM tenfold. That CRM was initially based on potential writing clients (art galleries), and let's say each of them averages a dozen artists. I will now be approaching each of their artists as well, which I wasn't doing previously, so that's a massive breakthrough for me in terms of potential clients. It's new and daring, and there are people more qualified than me in the community, which was scary, but the response has been very positive so far. My future is definitely on a different trajectory than it ever was before.

@Michael Clegg Goes without saying, but should be said, definitely appreciate the work you've facilitated here, the best community to have a weekly fix of great pointers!

So sorry but I can’t make the call today because there’s the last bunch of stuff to sort out. Next week should be good! May I ask why the calls are on Zoom?
Life Update
Hi friends, Apologies as it’s been a long time. Really appreciate your kind words and support. I’ve yet to reply personally so please bear with me. Updating with news that I’m in the process of getting back on track. My partner and I are finally on holiday after a tough summer sorting out our living arrangements. I completely ran out of my physical, mental, spiritual and emotional resources but learnt a lot in the process. I do have some positive news about where my work is. Because I was unable to sit down and even write an article, I switched gears and set things in motion instead by starting conversations. As a result, I’ve now launched up my own Skool artist-coaching pilot group! We had our kickoff call a couple of weeks ago. It’s set up between two time zones, the UK and Sri Lanka, and I’m very excited about it–so far the response and feedback have been very positive. :) This is the link (closed group for now): https://www.skool.com/studio-practice-lab-6736/about?ref=c5e0c070644b4f928d34fc252e7815d1 Once I’ve got a bit of recovery time in, I’ll be back on the weekly calls. Lots of love and looking forward to catching up! P.S.: Also sharing my Q3 report and my working thesis.

Hello all, I’m taking a break for a few weeks until my home situation is sorted out. Over the past few weeks, things have gotten overwhelming to the point I barely even get to my office. The house needs a tonne of work (DIY decoration, painting walls, moving furniture, restructuring rooms, clearing storage spaces, setting up workspaces), all the while navigating the intense emotional weight this place has for both of us, especially with bereavement. I’ve thought about it carefully, and I’ve written to the people I’m writing about to say that I’m pausing several commitments until I get things in order. It’s impossible to get things moving on my end when our home space is so difficult. It’s utterly draining, and we’re going to take time to establish a firm base to build from. Thanks to the Vision Processing, in particular, I know I have everything I need in place to get moving. I’ll get back into it once things are more settled. Painfully aware of all the stuff I need to do for myself and my work, but this has now become the work. Also, we were supposed to get married this weekend, but we had postponed it because of her mother’s passing. Instead of wedding bells, we were smothered with dust and wood filler–but loved it. In a way, I’m removing a bottleneck that’s preventing me from getting to where I want to be. I'm creating the conditions where I can actually follow through consistently rather than in a fragmented way. It starts at home. Appreciate all the accountability and encouragement this group excels in. Just wanted to be transparent and will be back with a stronger foundation. Thank you for understanding. P.S. Also sharing a couple pics from my office/studio. A few months ago, I set up a large drawing, and this is where it's at. I have, however, just taken this piece down to give me more space for clarity. I needed it to get started once I moved here, and I’ll return to it at a later date. Hope you enjoy!
