Study what happened right before the sale.
Most businesses track where a customer came from and whether they bought. But what happened just before they made that decision? Look back at your recent sales and find the last meaningful interaction before each purchase. Was it a follow-up call? A case study? Seeing previous work? A consultation? A testimonial? If the same thing keeps appearing, you’ve found something worth investigating. It doesn’t automatically mean that interaction caused the sale. But if a pattern exists, ask yourself: How can we get more prospects to that point? Your best sales might already be showing you what works.

Study what happened right before the sale.
Introduce yourself. Four lines, and the fourth is the one that matters
Most intro threads are useless because everyone says what they do and nobody says what they need. So four lines, in this order. What the business does, and roughly how many people. The one job you would hand over tomorrow if you could. What you have already tried on it, including what did not work. What you could help someone else in here with. That last line is the whole point of this thread. Everybody in here runs a business and has solved something the person above them is currently stuck on. Bookkeeping, hiring, dealing with a specific supplier, getting a website to actually load, pricing a job properly. It does not have to be AI. Then do one thing: read the intros above yours and message the one person whose problem you have already solved. Not a pitch. Just "I did this last year, here is what I would avoid." That is how this room becomes worth more than the lessons. The classroom is fixed. The people are not. I will go first in the comments.

Build-Off #1: The Enquiry Catcher
One month. One build. Everyone builds the same thing, which is what makes it useful, because you get to see fifteen different answers to a problem you also have. The brief An enquiry lands. Web form, email, WhatsApp, missed call, whatever your business actually gets. Build something that catches it, works out what the person wants, and gets a sensible reply back to them without you touching it. That is it. No stack requirements. If you do it with a Zapier and two prompts, that counts. If you write code, that counts too. What to post Drop it in Show Your Build before the last day of the month with the title starting BUILD-OFF. Include: What it catches and what it sends back. One screenshot or a thirty second video of it actually working. What broke while you were building it, because that is the bit everyone else learns from. Judging Sam and I pick three. We are not looking for the cleverest. We are looking for the one most likely to still be running in ninety days, which usually means the simplest one that somebody actually deployed. Prizes First: six months of Premium, free. Second and third: three months of Premium, free. Deadline is the last day of the month. Start now, because the ones posted on the final afternoon are always the ones that were never switched on.

Check in: The Bottleneck Audit
This is the lesson that decides whether everything else in here is worth your time. Point AI at the wrong job and you build something clever that saves you forty minutes a month. The Ground, lesson 2. Do the audit, then drop three lines below. What job came out on top. Roughly what it costs you now, in hours a week or in work you lose. And what surprised you. That last one matters most. Most owners expect the answer to be admin and find it is actually the gap between an enquiry landing and someone replying to it. Read a couple of the others before you post yours.

What just changed in here, and what did not
Short version: the teaching is still free, two paid tiers now exist, and there are six new places to post. What stayed free The Bottleneck Course, all 23 lessons. AI Quick Wins. Thursday Live every week. The feed, the questions, the wins. If you never spend a penny in here you still get the thing that matters most, which is working out which job in your business is worth automating and how to think about it. That is not a trial. It stays free. What is now paid Premium, $27 a month. The Systems Library and the Prompt Library moved behind it, plus a new monthly build call with me or Sam where we open real builds on screen and work on them. Every call recorded and kept. That is the only paid tier. One price, one thing to decide. Being straight about why The libraries are the part that took months to write and the part people actually build from. Charging for them is what lets us keep the course free and keep showing up on Thursdays. If you were relying on them being free, say so below and we will sort you out. New places to post Show Your Build, for what you are making. Stuck? Ask Here, for when it breaks. Tools and Finds, for anything worth passing on. Plus Announcements, Lesson Check-Ins and a Monthly Build-Off, which we run. There is also a new lesson in Start Here explaining how levels work and what they get you. Hit Level 5 and Premium is on us for a month.
