October 20, 2026, I celebrate 35 months sober! One day, one decision, one prayer at a time. Today’s devotional, “Skilled,” reminded me that God continued to work through David despite his mistakes. That speaks to me. My past hasn’t erased my purpose, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to keep growing. Sobriety is teaching me to: ❤️ Be honest with myself. 🙏🏽 Accept help and surrender what I cannot control. 🌱 Take responsibility for the choices I make today. I’m still learning. Still healing. Today’s word is Persistent. Luke 11:10 reminds us to keep asking, keep seeking, and keep knocking. Sometimes the answer does not come immediately. Sometimes the door does not open on the first knock. But persistence keeps us moving in faith instead of giving up too soon.
