A Year Ago, I Posted Here With an Idea. Here's What Happened Next. 🥊
Hey everyone, Adwait here. Almost exactly a year ago, I made a post in this community. I was preparing to leave India for the UK, finishing the next chapter of my education, and trying to build something called Cornerman AI. I had an idea, a laptop, a fascination with automation, and absolutely no clue how much I still had to learn. Then life happened. I moved to London, finished my university journey, met people from completely different backgrounds, trained, explored, failed at things, got better at others, and started seeing business and life through a different lens. One thing I couldn't do while studying in the UK was actively run my business under the restrictions of my student visa. So Cornerman AI had to take a back seat. But the idea never really left. Fast forward to October 2026. I'm 21, back in India, living in Mumbai, and I've decided to give this thing a real shot. Not as a side project. Not as something I'll get around to someday. But as a company I genuinely want to build. Meet Cornerman AI. 🥊 We're focused on helping gyms, martial arts academies, and fitness businesses operate more efficiently using AI and automation. The idea is simple. A great coach should spend more time coaching. A gym owner should spend more time growing their business. And neither should have to spend their evenings chasing leads, manually following up with members, or juggling endless administrative tasks. That's where we want to come in. Over the past year, I've had the opportunity to speak with gym owners, experiment with different automation systems, and work on a few real-world pilots. And something became very clear to me. The hardest part isn't building an automation. It's understanding the human problem well enough to know what deserves to be automated. That's something I'm still learning. Right now, I'm building Cornerman AI from Mumbai. Some days are exciting. Some days I'm questioning everything. There are technical challenges, sales challenges, moments where things click, and moments where I realize I have to go back and learn something from scratch.

@Gal Miller Gal, I really like that perspective. And you're absolutely right about getting that first paying client. I've spent a fair amount of time experimenting, building workflows, and speaking with gym owners, but turning that into a repeatable business is an entirely different challenge. That's exactly where my focus is right now. Less building for the sake of building, more validating and getting actual results. Curious, when you were starting out, what helped you most in landing those first few clients?

@Okasha Khan Thanks a lot, Okasha! Really appreciate it, man. It's something I've been realizing more and more as I go along. Still got a lot to figure out haha. Are you working on automations yourself? Would love to know what you're building!
Martial Artist & Agency Builder — Excited to Network in the UK🥊
I’m Adwait, originally from India 🇮🇳 — and this September I’ll be moving to the UK for the first time on a student visa 🎓. Alongside my studies, I’m building Cornerman AI, an automation agency focused on gyms, martial arts clubs, and fitness businesses. As someone who trains regularly myself (both gym and martial arts), I’ve seen firsthand the problems owners and coaches face — from lead follow-ups to member communication — and I’ve been learning how to design automation solutions that actually fix these pain points. On the tech side, I’m still learning every day, building, and gaining more confidence with each project. But I know stepping into a new market like the UK is going to be a whole different challenge — understanding how businesses think, what they need, and how to position myself. That’s why I want to network as much as possible, exchange ideas, and learn from people who’ve already been on this journey. If you’re in the UK (or even if not), I’d love to connect, swap experiences, and hear how you’ve navigated client acquisition, market understanding, and building trust with businesses. Always happy to share my own insights too. Looking forward to meeting more of you and building connections here 🙌 — Adwait Cornerman AI
Building My First Real AI Tool
Hey — I’m Adwait, currently learning Voiceflow and Make while building out an AI project called CornerMan AI, aimed at helping boxing/MMA gyms automate lead generation and client onboarding. I don’t come from a tech background, but I’ve committed to learning this from the ground up. Right now, I’m working on: - A chatbot that qualifies leads for fitness gyms - Make.com workflows to auto-send them to Google Sheets - Building a clean feedback loop to improve conversion If anyone here has built something similar, I’d love your feedback. And if you’re down to jam on ideas or tools, I’m all in. Let’s build something that actually works in the real world

Fighting for the Future of Fitness with AI
Hey everyone! I’m Adwait — a passionate learner from Mumbai, on a mission to blend AI and fitness in a way that actually helps real people and real businesses. Right now, I’m building out an idea called CornerMan AI, aimed at helping boxing and MMA gyms grow using automation and no-code tools. It’s still early — I’m learning the ropes, testing, failing, building — but I’m deeply committed to the process. I believe in learning in public, building with intention, and surrounding myself with people who are also chasing something meaningful. If you’re into fitness, automation, or just enjoy geeking out on ideas that can make a real-world impact, I’d love to connect. Let’s jam, build, and grow together.
