Welcome to the Wild Classroom 🌴
Hello! My name is Rose & I’ve spent over 25 years teaching science to all age groups, participating in co-ops, conducting homeschool evaluations, & teaching my own children. Through it all, one truth has stayed clear: learning doesn’t turn on & off — it’s happening all the time! The Wild Classroom exists to help families of all kinds: - See learning everywhere — in nature, at home, and in everyday life - Feel confident guiding science and curiosity-based learning - Reduce stress and pressure around “doing enough” - Trust that curiosity leads to meaningful understanding This is a calm, supportive space — there’s no comparison, no perfection, & no judgment here. To keep it that way, we don’t allow self-promotion, service offers, or unsolicited DMs. 👉 Please introduce yourself below: - Your name - Your children’s ages - One thing your child is naturally curious about right now I’ll respond personally & welcome you to the community. I’m excited to learn alongside you! Warmly, Mrs. Rose 🐬

Hello! My name is Alex and I am have three boys ages 1, 4, and 6. I’m homeschooling and I joined this group to get more ideas and support for getting them outside. My oldest has been naturally curious about stars, though he’s the least interested in nature but highly competitive so I’ve been trying to make scavenger hunts and all kinds of games to get him going outside. My middle child loves all animals and bugs and is always delighted to find something new. My youngest is just a toddler and not too interested in animals, but he enjoys anything kinetic like sand or throwing pebbles into a creek.
