Where did your last coaching client come from?
Think about your most recent coaching client. Where did they first find you? 👇 Was it Skool, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, your email list, a referral, networking, your website, an event, ... or somewhere different? And if you’re still waiting for that first client, tell us where you’re currently putting most of your effort into finding them 👇

Share your wins for the week (27 Sep) 🎉
Time for our weekly wins check-in! 🥳 You told us what you were working on last week, so now tell us what happened... @Sean Reddaway MSc you were getting ready for your Virtual Summit in October. How are the preparations coming along? 🎤 @Silla Jonsdottir you had three things on your list: creating or improving your coaching offer, getting some behind-the-scenes jobs done and making time for yourself too. How did your week go? 😊 @Jennifer Weiner you were working on getting your quiz connected to your app and setting up your welcome sequence. You also wanted to start getting the quiz in front of more people. How far did you get? 🙌 @Samia Bibi you were focused on finding new clients through LinkedIn outreach and conversations, as well as creating resources to make your process smoother. How did the outreach go this week? 🌱 @Kemi Adekunbi you were having more conversations, following up with prospective and previous customers, and connecting with other health, wellness and fitness experts. How did you get on? 👏 @Ellora Jade you were focused on client acquisition and having more meaningful conversations with the right people. How has that been going? 🌿 And anyone else who had a win this week, come and tell us about it ⬇️🧡

@Miri Campbell Thank you.
What’s one business decision you’re glad you made? 🤔☺️
We make so many decisions as we build our businesses, and sometimes there are those ones that we’re really pleased we made. What’s one of yours?

I'm glad I purchased my office instead of renting for 30 yrs. I'm glad I retired in my 30th year of private practice. I'm glad I started a coaching business during my last 5 years of private practice. That's 3 decisions, but I will stop here. 😄
Building A Community
As a member of skool communities who doesn't have my own community here or is planning to open one I have been interested in how this platform runs. I have my own community on another platform, and I see the differences, positive and negative. There are several communities out there, Circle, Mighty Network, Facebook Groups, Reddit, Patreon, etc. My question is, do you belong to any other community platform and what do you find to be the pros/cons compared to Skool?. For coaches, I believe having a community as a maintaince platform for your members can be a great asset that goes beyond the 1:1 or group coaching.

@Jovianna Maytee Having experienced both Skool and Mighty Network, it sounds like you appreciate the features of Skool more. What features do you feel will help you build your community here?
Malpractice Insurance?
How many have some form of business insurance or malpractice insurance? Do you feel it is needed, if so how much do you pay for yours. If you feel comfortable please share the agency that you are purchashing it from? I am researching for myself, trying to decided if to stay with my insurance from my professional agency (Social Work).

@Ellora Jade I don't have an answer for the coaching industry. In the therapy industry, the standard is 1 million and 3 million. Which can cost $300 and up, depending on where you are getting it from. I kept my liability insurance from my social work license because I am not sure yet. Still researching.
