Sorry for this one getting to you later in the day...it's been a busy day today. But...I did find this post from a luxury travel advisor on Instagram (see image below) and had to share it because THIS is such a good example of using AI to support your expertise, rather than replace it. She uses Claude every day in her travel business, but probably not in the ways you would expect. Here are a few of the things she's using it for: ✈️ 𝗠𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗹𝘀 + 𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 When she's working in a city she isn't as familiar with, she has Claude help plot partner hotels alongside landmarks and the places her clients want to visit. Instead of manually figuring out the geography, she gets a clearer picture of which neighborhoods make the most sense. 🚗 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘀𝗳𝗲𝗿𝘀 She compares options like private car services and hotel transfers to help determine the best option for her clients without spending all that time searching herself. 🍽️ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁𝘀 She gives Claude the client's destination, dietary needs, cuisine preferences, price point and preferred vibe, along with the sources she trusts. Claude creates a starting list. She refines it. 📱 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆 She watches travel trends, industry news and current events, then tells Claude what she's seeing and what she wants to say. Claude helps her organize those ideas into content across her platforms. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗵𝗲 𝗶𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘁. She is the one who already has the relationships, knows her clients, and has trusted sources. She already has the experience to know whether a recommendation is actually good.
