Are You Asking God for Wisdom... or Just Asking Him to Agree With You? Have you ever made up your mind about something and THEN prayed about it? 😳 I think we've all been guilty of that at some point. We decide what we want. We make the plans. We get excited about the possibilities. And THEN we ask God to bless it. But what if we're supposed to seek His wisdom BEFORE making the decision? Solomon had the opportunity to ask God for something, and he asked for an understanding heart to judge God's people. 📖 “Give therefore thy servant an understanding heart to judge thy people, that I may discern between good and bad...” — 1 Kings 3:9 (KJV) Solomon understood that he needed wisdom for the responsibility God had given him. And I think there's a lesson here for us in business. Before we launch another product, spend more money, or jump into another opportunity... Are we seeking wisdom? Are we willing to hear something different from what we WANT to hear? Sometimes the wisest business decision isn't doing MORE. It's knowing what you should do NEXT. 👉 This week, before making a big decision, take time to pray, examine the facts, and seek wise counsel. 💬 Have you ever been glad you waited before making a business decision?
