You're Not Built to Do This Alone I used to look at super successful people and see them as gifted individuals who stood out from the pack. When I got closer to some of them, I realised they were really good at gathering talent and genius around them. A lot of their results came from the team they'd built, not just their own individual skill. It's hard to do this by yourself. Sometimes you're not motivated, sometimes the ideas aren't flowing, sometimes you're just stuck in a funk. That doesn't mean you're destined to fail as an entrepreneur. Sometimes you're just dysregulated, or you need more social support. We're not really built to do this solo. What that looks like in practice I'm not even shooting this course by myself. I've got people behind the scenes feeding me lines, giving me good energy, sense checking what we're doing. There's a technical support side, but maybe more importantly there's a nervous system piece. If you consider yourself neurodivergent, look into body doubling: working alongside other people to help you start, maintain, and finish, just by having someone around keeping you accountable. Most of us create better with people around us. On my own I can shoot, edit and upload one video a day. Working with others, I can knock out five or six. How to apply it You don't need to hire staff or build a production team. Just find a way to involve one other person in your creative process. That could be in person, on a body doubling Zoom call, or simply having someone hold the camera while you shoot. If you find someone you work well with, book one day a week to create content together. If you're still stuck on what to actually create, go back to your week one journaling and bring some of those ideas into the session. What's next Let us know below where and how you're going to find someone to body double with. If you're also looking for a co-working buddy, start a thread in the comments.

Does teaming up with AI count?! 🤣 Cos I may have just fed my AI the scripts to my first 16 posts so it can help analyse and break down and create new scripts rehashing the general messages. Mainly because I'm away from the back end of next week so I wanna have two weeks worth of stuff written and recorded and scheduled before I go. The results have been good. More direct messaging without losing the "me" element of it, partly because it knows my writing style by now on this subject as it's been helping me to build essay plans for uni work on the same subject for the last 2 years. But also I'll always edit what it gives me to make sure it's always authentically me, anything that feels like it's not gets binned or edited. I know a lot of people are still afraid of the AI Influence, but I found if you use it right and it can streamline process for you without it having to negate your own creative and authentic identity. 🤖
11/21 - SHADOW WORK
The part of you that can make your best content is probably hidden in your shadows. We all carry a picture of who we're allowed to be, shaped by our parents, our schooling, and the culture we grew up in. Some parts of us were socially acceptable and got rewarded. Other parts didn't. But all of them are still part of who we are. What to look at What parts of you got banished for being too much or not enough? Where did you receive disapproval, or get shut down? One of the most powerful forms of shadow work is revealing those parts and being witnessed in the revealing. Doing this reclaims power and life force, and that's gold for your content. How to apply it Choose an archetype that's living in your shadows and bring it to the front. Who are they? What do they want to say? What would happen if you stepped into this character, made a 60 or 90 second video, and posted it on the internet? What's next Do it, and report back in the comments. We want to see these shadows.

FFS. So yeah ive just written the next full weeks worth of posts after tuning in to this. About surpressed archetypes around showing emotion, and calling out the non-self aware bullshit in me and others, being a mirror, more on how to share vulnerability....and Back to the Future! I could say a lot more but I feel like the creativity thats being unlocked just by being in this field is like unlocking some Jumanji shit that got locked and lost in childhood. It'd probably be best if i just shared in the calls, might be more alchemical to do it that way, I just need to grow a pair and speak up. Someone call me out if I dont do next week!

9/21 JOURNAL ON FACING YOUR FEAR
What if I post on the internet, and the people who hate me see it, and they make fun of me, and everyone laughs, and I get cancelled, and I end up homeless and alone? Fear is part of us and it exists for a reason. It comes from embodied instinct, from ego protection, and from the culture around us. Its job is to stop us taking big risks, anything that could impact our status or security. Usually that looks like avoiding the unknown. The cost is that most of what we want, and most growth, sits on the other side of that fear. What to do The best way to work with fear isn't to get rid of it. It's to meet it and see what it's actually about. How to do it Get your journal out and write down all your fears about showing up on social media. At least 10 or 20. Take the one with the most emotional charge and elaborate on it. Follow it to its conclusion. What happens next? Then what? Then what? For example: everyone realises I'm a fraud, it spreads across the internet, it ruins my reputation, no one wants to work with me, and I end up destitute under a bridge. Once you've found the fear, feel into where it lives in the body. Meet it, breathe into it, accept that it's there. Then see it for what it is: a story. What's next Spend some time working through this, then share your experience in the comments.

The fear was that showing "too much" vulnerability might be perceived as what boils down to another fear of not being good enough. When I met this, yes there was acceptance but it also allowed me to quickly call bullshit as I'm asking my clients to share vulnerability and pay me for the privilege of holding space for them to do so, but I can't even fucking model doing that to them in a reel!? Nahhhh! So then I went and immediately filmed a vid about vulnerability and explaining how being vulnerable in this way is actually helping my self acceptance, because sometimes my self worth can be low, and scheduled it for posting later in the week. This all happened within like 5 mins of feeling into this transmission. It was effortless, like almost an automatic process. Fuckin boshhh.
7/21 - REFLECTING ON THE WEEK
So world builders, how has the week been? Let’s take notice of what’s shifted. What are some different perspectives you’ve picked up? What have you learned from your experiments? What’s going to be different moving forwards? Share below:

- It's not as hard as I'd thought it might be to post content each day - because I'm talking about what I Iove. - I'm actually maybe just doing this for me on the basic level - i.e. I'm getting more out of it personally than I thought...your idea that we meet ourselves each time we post content has really resonated and it's helping me with the whole imposter syndrome vibes each time I watch my content and think AHH he's actually alright this dude! 😆 - Releasing attachment and the whole IVAR process going forward feels nice.

Volume Over Perfection. Why this matters There's a story in the book Art and Fear about a ceramics teacher who split his class in two. One half was told to produce one high quality piece. The other half was told to just produce as much work as possible. At the end of the semester, all the best work came from the volume group. What this means When we take the pressure off needing to be perfect or incredible, we get to just practice. We do the thing, we learn how to do it, and the more we make, the more likely we are to make something good. How to apply it The principle is simple: make something first. You can make it good later. Don't wait for the perfect idea or the perfect take. What's next That's the challenge here. Just make stuff and put it out there. It's allowed to be shit. It's allowed to be boring. Just get out there and make something.

Weird. Just catching up with today's video now, and as I've been coming down off a hill on my walk today I've been thinking about how the video I put out today I'm a lot happier with as opposed to the previous 3 days vids...because I was being more specific about something I wanna help people with cos I've struggled with it too...and then I was like yeah I need to do a video specifically around perfectionism as that's been another big one for me, and then I come back and see this is today's transmission 💫

@Dane Tomas I'm not surprised, was expecting it and that's kinda why I'm here, but I'm also still surprised 😂 in a good way. It's all showing me that I'm doing what I'm supposed to be I guess and matching yours and everyone else's frequency
