Here's the real stuff: I counted: this community, the hosted version and everyone running catknows from GitHub together, we're getting close to 100 people using catknows 🙌🏽 That's a whole plane full, a small passenger jet has about 100 seats 😂 Even someone who works for Skool uses it. Their words: "I've been using it for a while and would recommend it, it's really good". They also said they'd rather recommend the tool than this community, because it's too quiet here. I want to change that 🙏🏽 💛 What changes on November 1st If you have an account on catknows.app before November 1st, the hosted version stays free for you forever. New accounts after that will cost $7 a month. So if a friend could use catknows, tell them now, before I switch. The open source version stays free forever and public on GitHub. Best case you all run that one and save the money ☺️ Every idea and contribution there makes me super happy. Hey Apple hoomans, as we all know you guys are special and wonderful because you are using apple products .. 😂 @Jakolien Sok @Mindy Molein @Tommy Gan @Elfina Luk @Éva Raposa @Mercedes Aspland @Mark Zammit (are you on mac?) @Fiona Morris @Angela Day @Keith Berg Yet again we needed to fix something that shouldn't be fixed or be broken but MacOs had other plans.. We wouldn't be who we are if we hadn't also fixed that part aswell. You may have encountered the same bug/issue @Jakolien Sok ran into - the update service didn't work.. So we fixed it BUT here's is a little twist to it - you need to delete your old catknows. folder and download the newest version in order to make it work in the future. Here's exactly what you do now: 1. delete your catknows. folder (or keep it as an ancient relict) 2. head over to https://cat-knows.com/ and download version 0.0.11 (yes it took us that many versions to figure it out)= 3. run catknows. and enjoy The only small hiccup here is that you will start with a fresh database but there were no ways around it in order to make the automated update service run in the future seemingless.
