Something isn't right with your dog ....
💔 You know something isn't right with your dog, but you can't work out what. They hesitate before jumping. They move differently. They're not quite themselves, then they seem fine again. When you're guessing all the time, small signs can be easy to miss until they become bigger problems and even bigger vet bills. It can be hard to speak up for your dog when you don't have a clear understanding of what you are seeing. 🐾 THE CANINE ADVOCATES SKOOL COMMUNITY helps you learn to read your dog's movement, posture, and behaviour, including early signs of pain and compensation. Inside: ✅ Premium access to The Healthy Dog Method ✅ Classes on movement, pain, core fitness, health ✅ Case Files, tools, resources ✅ Live Q&A & expert guests Connect with owners who notice the same things you do and who get why it matters. 👉 Start your 7-day free trial today. @Faith Adebayo aww that's so sad and hard to watch. Run free, Dexter boy🌈🐾 Science is moving forward for this condition now thankfully. Laser therapy is being explored for dogs with cognitive dysfunction, with some encouraging early results. I hope Ollie gives you a much warmer welcome next time 🩷

Could You Prevent Your Dog’s Next Injury? In my experience of working with thousands of dogs (young and oldies) there is an amazing tool that could help prevent injury and may delay the onset of debilitating diseases like arthritis, IVDD .... THE ANSWER? - Core Conditioning. Especially if they’re puppies or young and active and showing no signs of a problem to you - 𝘠𝘦𝘵. Your dog’s core helps them stay steady when they walk, turn, climb stairs and get up from the floor. It’s part of how they control their movement and cope with everyday demands on their body. Core conditioning gives us a way to support that control 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 a dog starts struggling. For older dogs, it can help give them a new lease of life, because if their body feels better, they move better and are more energetic, confident and happy. I’m hosting a Core Conditioning Masterclass, by zoom tonight, 25th September, inside The Canine Advocates. I’ll explain what your dog’s core does, why it matters, and how to recognise when an activity is asking too much of them. If you’d like to learn cool stuff about your dog, come and join us. >>>> Link to Join <<<<

Could the “𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘚𝘪𝘵” Be Causing Long Term Harm?
Could the way your dog has been taught to sit be contributing to neck shoulder and back problems? A sit is one of the first and most frequently repeated exercises in dog training from puppies. But while everyone is watching whether the dog obeys, who is looking at what that position may be doing to their puppies body? This is something I teach pet and sport dog owners, vets, trainers, groomers, physios and therapists. Want to know what I see? Start your seven-day free trial. 👉 https://www.skool.com/dogs

Could the “𝘗𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘚𝘪𝘵” Be Causing Long Term Harm?
Dogs don't always stop moving when something hurts.
More often than not they just move differently. A bit more weight on one leg. A different way of sitting or laying. A hesitation before jumping. A bit of a hop when they walk. Small changes that are easy to dismiss because they're not dramatic. Dogs don't hide pain, they compensate. So if you're waiting for a limp... You're waiting until your dog can't compensate any longer. ❤️ Don't just look for when your dog is struggling. Look for how they're adapting.
