We start our homeschooling year soon. In my planning this summer, I have really had to focusing on planning from love and not fear. We had have a lot of struggles in the past, and I don't want to plan from assuming we will have all the same issues again. I know our days won't be perfect, but I also know it's less about the "plans" and more about us all staying present and regulated, especially me. I know I can handle a lot of discomfort, but I often just don't want to. 🤪 I am more than grateful to be home and learning with my kids, but I am working on being realistic with expectations and working to keep myself regulated and speak lovingly, especially when that isn't easy. I've been practicing this summer!

@Audrey Todd Audrey, my heart is aching for you. My daughter has PANDAS, and it is such an incredibly challenging road to navigate as a family. It really does affect everyone and everything. My faith has wavered over the years, and I have asked so many times how weak I had to become before God became strong. So many of His promises felt like they just weren't playing out in our home. BUT, what I do know to be true is that every time I DID include God and seek Him, something shifted. Not always the rage or heartbreak around me, but within me. Slowly I felt like His promises WERE for us, and He was working all things for good in a different way than I would have thought "working all things for good" looked. I appreciate your honesty is wondering where God is, and I'm sure God appreciates that too. Being & acknowledging where you are is exactly where you should be. If you are willing to offer that up to God, I know He will listen. Praying you feel His presence with you and and that tiny glimmers of blessings and hope are ahead for all of you.
