RESET YOUR IDENTITY THERMOSTAT
You don’t always make decisions based on what you want. Often, your choices are influenced by who you believe you are and what feels familiar to you. That’s why you might: 🤐 Shrink back just when you’re ready to be seen 🌪️ Disrupt your own peace because chaos feels familiar 🚫 Talk yourself out of a goal before you’ve even begun ↩️ Return to your comfort zone when life starts moving in a better direction Your self-image can work like an invisible thermostat. When your results start moving beyond what you believe you’re capable of, worthy of, or able to sustain, old patterns can quietly pull you back toward what feels familiar. Not because you’re broken. Not because you lack discipline. But because familiar can feel safer than change. If you want different results, don’t only focus on changing the habit. Look at the belief underneath it. What belief about yourself might be limiting your progress? And what new belief are you ready to practise instead? 🌱 Complete both statements in the comments: “My old identity believed __________.” “My new identity believes __________.” 👇

My old identity believed I had to prove myself before I deserved a seat at the table." "My new identity believes I already bring value, and I get to keep learning and growing without needing to earn my place first." Thank you for the reminder to check what's actually driving the pattern, not just the behavior itself.
