I started this one this morning. It was uploaded by this evening. And I spent most of the hours in between working on completely different things. Here is exactly how it went, because I think the how is more useful to you than the what. This morning. I opened ColorCodex, which is a tool that lives inside ChatGPT, and told it four things. Who the book is for: seniors. What it is about: rustic cabins in the mountains. My name and my brand. And about 70 pages. That is all I typed. It came back with three concepts. Not vague ideas. Three proper directions, each one spelling out the age range, the drawing style, how complex the pages should be, the format, and which one it thought would sell best and why. I picked the first one, Cozy Mountain Cabins. Then it wrote the production prompt, which is the long set of instructions describing the entire book. I copied that and pasted it into the Work side of ChatGPT. Not the chat side. The Work side. That is the bit people get wrong. And it built the book. All the pages. The cover, front and back. The whole thing. What came out: 32 realistic designs, each with a blank back so the colors cannot bleed through to the next picture, plus color-testing pages and reflection pages. Porches, fireplaces, lakes, pine forests, woodland visitors, through the changing seasons. I have put a couple of the pages below. Look at the porch swing one, with the lake and the mountains behind it. I did not draw that. I cannot draw. I described a feeling and the tool did the rest. The first five books I made were mostly for my grandchildren. Robots, animals with jobs, girls building things. This one is for people my own age who want to sit down with something peaceful for an hour. I am 60. I have six books on Amazon. Two years ago I would have told you both halves of that sentence were impossible. If you want the full walkthrough, I wrote it all up and it is free. Six steps, what it really costs, and real pages so you can see what you are aiming for.
