Issues with Citations
I've come across something while using the fact-checking and citation features that I wanted to bring to the attention of the development team. As part of editing a manuscript, I began checking every citation that was generated. I found that a noticeable number of links were either no longer available, pointed to unrelated content, or didn't support the statement they were attached to. When I asked the AI to verify the citations, it explained that it isn't able to access live websites to confirm whether links are valid or whether they actually support the information being cited. I wanted to share this because citations are such an important part of publishing. Many users may understandably assume that AI-generated references have already been verified, when that may not always be the case. It would be fantastic if a future update could include a true citation verification process that confirms: - the link is live, - the source is relevant to the claim being made, and - the citation actually supports the accompanying text. I really like Publish Flow, which is why I wanted to mention this. Improving this feature would add a great deal of confidence for anyone publishing books that rely on accurate references. @Andrey Bernhart @Roman Redl

@Lee Lee That's why I wanted to bring it to attention. Hopefully they can sort it out so we can be confident about the sources we're sighting.

🚀 BIG update: Video Ads out now + live call on Saturday
Over the last 3 weeks we worked on 3 big updates, new features and improvements for PublishFlow. You can see and use ALL of them today. I will showcase them in detail over the coming days with more posts here in Skool. Plus, I will show the new features in a live call this Saturday. The first big new feature I want to talk about today: 🎬 The Video Ads Tool. I already showed a beta version a month ago in a live call. And now it's out for all Pro subscribers! I have been using these exact video ads for my books for months now, with amazing results. Video ads are, at least for me, some of the most efficient ads I run in my account. (Of course, that are my books; ad results always vary.) 💵 Before our AI video ads workflow, I paid $50 for a cheap video ad and $80-100 if I asked a UGC influencer... ...now it's less than $10 per video ad. So feel free to try it out! The tool is now available in Visuals. If you have any questions, write them below or bring them to the call on Saturday. 💬 📅 The call is this Saturday, July 25th, at 5 PM CET | 11 AM EST | 8 AM PST. I will give some inputs on video ads, how to set them up and how to run them, plus I will talk about the other new features. At the end we will have an open Q&A for all of your questions regarding KDP in general. 👉 Go to the Calendar tab here in Skool to save the date. P.S. We updated our website too; feel free to check it out! publishflow.ai P.P. One of the big updates are the 51 new Visuals templates I briefly showed in a post last week. Feel free to test them already.

@Andrey Bernhart Which modules are best for the call to action? That's one thing I currently struggle with is finding something suitable. Love these new additions! Thank you so much 🥰

@Andrey Bernhart It's not, but some designs that lend themselves to a final ask would be great to see. BTW, I'm just watching you and Peter talking about reviews on YouTube 🎉
A major discovery: Better Writing Quality 🏅
We ran a series of benchmark tests, and one thing stood out: the quality of a PublishFlow book depends heavily on the style and tone guide behind it. The gap between a strong guide and a weak one was dramatic. A weak guide pulls the whole book down, the writing reads worse and the content lands with less value. A strong guide produces genuinely exceptional books. In practice that meant if you did not spend time tuning your style and tone guide, the outcome carried more variance than it should have. Some books came out excellent, others less so, without a clear reason why. We have now solved that at the source. The style and tone generation has been rebuilt to be optimized by default. In a benchmark test accross 4 books, the new generation beat every model we tested across all categories. By far. ✅ For new books, every style and tone guide you create in PublishFlow, whichever way you create it, is now fully optimized. Great writing style is the default now, not something you have to get right by hand. ℹ️ For your existing books: if you are happy with how they read, you do not need to do anything, your guide was already doing its job. But if the writing style ever felt a little off, you can now regenerate the style and tone guide and rewrite the book on top of it. Attached you find our transparent benchmarks, tested against the strongest AI models out there.
