I'm looking for 5 people who are out of excuses.
Watch the video first. Then read this. 90 days left in 2026. I want 5 people who want paying members in their Skool before the ball drops. You know who you are. You've been saying "next year" for three years now. Next year you'll open the Skool. Next year you'll figure out what to charge. Next year you'll show up on YouTube. And here we are. October. Again. I did this for 14 years. 26 side hustles. Every January I swore this was the one. In 2019 I quit waiting for January. Regular year. Regular day. I simply decided. Nine months later I was out of my 9-5 for good. So here's who I'm looking for. 5 people who don't want to wait until 2027 to decide their life is going to change. - You want a Skool community that's open and alive. - Traffic coming in from YouTube. - An offer you can say out loud and a price you're proud of. - Paying members walking through the door. This is for you if: You're on YouTube or ready to make it your main way to get seen. You'll show up to every call and do the work in between. You're done waiting for January. If you need me to talk you into it, this isn't for you. I know every excuse. I've made them all. If you're ready, comment NOW and I'll DM you the details. If you don't want 2027 to suck, let's go. NOW (Dunno if I'm eligible; no prob if not; atm scripting my first Youtubevideos and will start filming after watching the replay from Oct 14th)
One sentence on his About page. 3 new members in 3 days.
Jason is in YouTube Sales School, my small group. On one of our calls we pulled up About pages from Skool communities that are working. I told everyone to go look at their own and do what the successful ones are doing. Jason did. He found one sentence he was missing. He added it. Nothing else. 3 new members in 3 days. I asked him where they came from. "All from Skool." That's Skool search doing its thing. People type what they're looking for, and Skool shows them the groups that say it. Here's the sentence, at the top of his About page for Firewatch Business Lab: "I help first-time buyers acquire businesses under $500K without costly mistakes. A CPA-led guidance through financial due diligence, valuation, and deal protection." Who he helps. What they get. Why they should trust him. His CPA credential is now the first thing a stranger reads. And every one of those members is someone who can raise their hand for a call with him. One call. One sentence. Three days. Go read the top of your About page right now. Does a stranger know who you help in one line? Drop your opening sentence in the comments and I'll tell you what's missing.

I've seen this play out every single year for longer than I care to remember. Around October 1st two groups of people show up. The first group has already decided that the year is over. What's done is done. They coast for the holidays and somehow think their lives will change on January 1st with a bunch of promises they never keep. The second group looks at the previous 9 months and has an honest conversation with themselves. They DECIDE the year is not done and that they CAN do more in 3 months than 9 months if you're focused and committed. I was in the first group for decades. And relived the same year over and over again. The second group sucks, but it's where winning happens. It's where transformations happen. The only thing standing between me and the life I wanted was me. Not my partner Not my boss Not my past Not my friends Not me having the time (worst excuse I ever made) I've made every excuse in the book and I even invented a few. It was all bullshit. Lies I told myself because I couldn't admit the truth. The truth was that I said I wanted a better life. But I wasn't willing to do what was required. Period. This is me holding the mirror up and it will sting. Some might leave the group. There are over 1400 people in this community. Maybe 10 will decide they want to be in the second group and actually do it. The rest will stay in group one. It's the easy, safe and comfortable route. Or is it? Years ago I decided that group one wasn't for me. It was the harder route. 90-120 days of going all-in with zero excuses beats 14 years of playing small and stacking regrets. Which group are you in? Don't comment unless you mean it. Decide. Commit. Focus.

I'm Group 2. I'm in peace with my past as I feel I didn't make excuses, I had real obstacles to conquer and I did that far enough now to slowly become able to act again. The battle continues oc, but now I wanna build something new, parallel to overcoming the old. Also: Fall(depression) and family(free) holidays are a very important time for Peer Support! And people have free time they can spend on my Acting Course and/or give it as a Christmas present! So I hope after sowing in autumn I can harvest in winter :D
💡 Step 0: Declare Your Idea (Do This First)
Before you watch anything in the classroom, do this first. Most people who join this community have the same problem: Too many ideas. I know because I started 26 side hustles in 14 years before I finally figured out what works. The goal here is simple: Stop spinning. Pick one direction. Test it for 30 days. Not forever. Just one idea to test next. Your Step 0 Action Comment below with this: I want to help [who] solve [problem]. Examples: • I want to help remote workers fix neck pain • I want to help busy parents plan healthy meals • I want to help real estate agents generate more leads It doesn’t have to be perfect. It just needs to be something you're considering building. When you say something out loud, you force a decision. And decisions create momentum. Most people stay stuck because they keep researching instead of choosing. After you comment 👇 Go to the Classroom → Start Here and continue with: Step 1 🧭 Pick Your Direction That’s where we’ll narrow this down and turn it into something real. Drop your idea below 👇 Let's see what you're thinking. - Brian 🔥

It feels much trickier as a Peer Supporter ... For starters because we don't "help", we work, by definition, "From Helping to Learning Together". Maybe ... "I want people in health crisis to be understood, validated and supported towards rebuilding a life they enjoy living". It's a huge area, working from all sorts of acute or chronic somatic or mental health issues, and specifically as equals on eye level, not in a coach/provider-student/patient hierarchy. 🧠🤏

@Brian O'Neill Thank you! Love that! Do you think I should add a concrete action I take with my clients? Wondering if "support" is too general ...
“Not an Expert” Syndrome
👉 Watch the lesson. Action Steps: ✅ List 3 things you’ve taught someone without charging them. ✅ Write this line: “I help [type of person] with [specific thing] that I’ve done myself.” Practice saying it. 📢 Share your one-liner in the comments. Let the group know what you’re great at.

I help students with acting that I've done myself. I help students with staging and directing that I've done myself. I help blind people with affordable audio books that I've done myself.
