We Only Have One Body. Are We Taking Care of It? ❤️🙏
Good Morning Everyone! A Little Reminder About the One Body We Have. ❤️🙏 This morning, I want you to think about something we sometimes take for granted. We only get one body. It's the same body that carries us through every challenge, every stressful day, every good moment, and every difficult season of life. And yet, how often do we actually stop and appreciate it? We spend so much time thinking about what we want to eat next, what tastes good, or what we're craving that sometimes we forget why we're eating in the first place. Food is meant to nourish us. It's meant to provide the building blocks our cells need to function, repair, and keep us healthy. But somewhere along the way, food has also become a constant source of entertainment. We eat because we're bored. Because we're stressed. Because something looks good. Or simply because it's there. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a good meal. I certainly do! 😊 But I believe there's a difference between enjoying our food and allowing food to control our decisions. When we begin paying attention to our biology, something changes. We start asking better questions. Am I actually hungry? Does this food nourish me? How do I feel after eating it? Am I eating because my body needs something, or because my mind wants a distraction? And most importantly, am I taking care of the body I've been blessed with? Health isn't about perfection. It's about being grateful enough for the body we have that we make an effort to care for it every single day. Today, be grateful that you woke up. That you can move, breathe, learn, and make choices that support your health. Don't wait until your health is challenged before you begin appreciating it. Take care of yourself, everyone. We've only got one body, and it's worth looking after. ❤️ A question for you this morning: What's one thing you're grateful your body allows you to do today? God bless you all! 🙏 Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™

There was so much to be thankful for even though my life hasn't turned out the way I planned. I've been a widow for 27 years now. My husband was just a kid when he passed away from cancer. My children are older than he was when he died at 44. I'm thankful that I am able to live with my mom and care for her, that I have no pain and able to do what needs to be done to care for her and myself and my three dogs. I'm so very thankful for this community and all that Maurice has taught me. I don't know what my future holds , but I know WHO holds my future.🙏❣️

@Michelle Clymer thanks for your compassion and kind words of encouragement. It means so much to me. 1 day at a time.
**What Causes High ApoB? The Number Is Only the Beginning**
ApoB is one of the most useful cardiovascular markers because it gives us a better estimate of the **number of atherogenic lipoprotein particles** circulating in the blood. That includes particles such as LDL, IDL, VLDL remnants, and Lp(a). The simple way to think about it is this: **Higher ApoB usually means more atherogenic particles are circulating.** But this is where people often stop too early. The real question is not just: **“Is my ApoB high?”** The better question is: **“Why is my ApoB high?”** Because two people can have the exact same ApoB level for completely different biological reasons. One person may have a strong genetic tendency and reduced LDL-receptor activity. Another may have insulin resistance and increased VLDL production from the liver. Another may have hypothyroidism slowing particle clearance. Another may be a lean person eating a very-low-carbohydrate diet and experiencing a large increase in LDL and ApoB despite low triglycerides and otherwise good metabolic markers. Another may be actively losing weight and temporarily mobilizing more fat. Another may have very high Lp(a), kidney disease, hormonal changes, diabetes, or a medication effect. That is why one number by itself never tells the whole story. **The pattern matters.** There are really two major ways ApoB rises: **1. You are producing more ApoB-containing particles.** The liver produces VLDL particles, and each of those particles carries one ApoB molecule. As VLDL is metabolized, it can become IDL and ultimately LDL. If the liver is producing more particles, ApoB can rise. This is often seen in people with insulin resistance, poor glucose control, metabolic syndrome, and increased hepatic fat production. **2. You are clearing the particles too slowly.** Your liver uses LDL receptors to remove ApoB-containing particles from circulation. If those receptors are reduced or less active, the particles stay in the blood longer. That can happen with genetics, hypothyroidism, certain dietary responses, hormonal changes, and other conditions.

@Ioanna Polymenea thanks, that's great to know. Maurice has mentioned that I may need to go on it as well.

🥩 HOMEWORK: Is Your Carnivore Diet Actually Complete?
After watching The Carnivore Nutrient Deficiency Switch, I want you to audit what you're actually eating, not simply call it “carnivore.” Your homework 👇 🥩 1. List the animal foods you ate over the last 3 days. Beef? Eggs? Dairy? Seafood? Sardines? Pork? Liver? Shellfish? 🧂 2. What type of salt are you using? Iodized or non-iodized? 🔍 3. Which ONE nutrient from the video surprised you most? Magnesium? Thiamin? Calcium? Vitamin C? Iodine? Something else? 💡 BONUS: Is there one animal food you could add or rotate to broaden your nutrient coverage before automatically reaching for another supplement? Post your answers below. 👇 Remember: “Carnivore” tells me the label. Your food tells me the biology. Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™ 🧬🥩

@Maurice Daher i also eat sardines without bones twice a month. And a small amount of raw frozen liver , a couple times a month. The salt I use is Redmond's and Icelandic Sea salt. I probably need to start consuming sardines with the bones and more liver more often.

What Is Your Body Telling You Right Now?
Quick check-in with everyone today. ❤️ Forget about being perfect for a minute. I want you to think about the **last 7 days** and tell me one thing: **What is ONE signal from your body you would most like to improve right now?** It could be: ❤️ Blood pressure ⚡ Low energy 😴 Poor sleep or waking during the night 🩸 Blood sugar 🧠 Brain fog 🔥 Digestion or reflux 💪 Strength or recovery 🫀 Cardiovascular health ⚖️ Stubborn belly fat 🦵 Cramps or circulation 🥶 Feeling cold 😰 Stress or anxiety 🍽️ Hunger or cravings 💩 Digestion/bowel movements Or something completely different. Then tell me: **1. What is the symptom/problem?** **2. When is it usually at its worst?** **3. What have you already tried?** Don’t overthink your answer. Sometimes one symptom gives us a clue about a much bigger pattern happening underneath. I’ll go through the responses and give you my thoughts. And if I see several people struggling with the same issue, **I’ll turn it into one of our upcoming lessons or Lives.** Remember: Don’t just chase the symptom. Find the signal. Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™ Fix the signal. Everything follows.

@Maurice Daher i can relate to several of these symptoms, but probably consistent sleep would be my main concern today. I try to keep a quiet evening routine and take supplementsI take supplements that are conducive to relaxation and sleep. I wake up, go to the restroom and then my brain can't shut off.
🧬 Would You Be Interested in a Peptide Educational Series?
Hey everyone, I’m considering adding a full educational series on peptides to the community, and before I start building it, I want to hear from you. Peptides have become incredibly popular, but there is also a lot of hype, confusion, and questionable information surrounding them. Some have meaningful human research behind them, while others are supported primarily by animal studies or early mechanistic evidence. My goal would be to break them down the same way we approach everything else here: biology first, evidence first, ideology last. We could explore peptides such as BPC-157, KPV, GHK-Cu, TB-500/Thymosin Beta-4, PT-141, GLP-1 related peptides, and others, looking at what they do, the pathways they influence, the quality of the human evidence, potential risks, and areas such as cardiovascular health, metabolism, recovery, body composition, sexual health, and longevity. This would be an educational series, not simply “here's a peptide, take this.” I want you to understand the biology well enough to separate promising science from marketing. Would this be something you'd like me to add to the community? And which peptide or area would you want me to cover first? Drop your thoughts below. 👇 Eat Based On Your Biology, Not Ideology™

I really don't know about them. Peptides, that would relate to heart health would be my first choice. If there is such a thing.
