I had a weird, mixed experience: The good: - everyone that I cared about was on board with me - I had a large social circle that I pared down over the years, and it turns out, my intuition was right. The people I kept were great, and the people I cut were awful - I had a ton of fun going to real underground events with like minded people The bad: - Most people around here (Ontario) bought the propaganda, and parroted talking points like they were from Idiocracy ("Brawndo, it's what plants crave! It's got electrolytes!") - The dating pool in the GTA was already bad since before Covid. Somewhere around 2016, it fell off a cliff. Finding datable, unvaccinated people around here is practically impossible. The ugly: - I can't unsee how the GenPop treated people. The newspapers calling for the unvaccinated to die. Jimmy Kimmel. The firings. Kicking people off of organ donor waitlists. The lack of curiousity and the blind compliance.
