Sherman?!
I thought this was OK at first. Embarrassing, kind of...😂 I obviously don't see a lot of Sherman. The rhinestones are excellent (Sherman is known for top quality rhinestones). The problem, I'm told, is Sherman never used a hang tag like this. If marked, it would be a small solder/applied cartouche. The construction on this is a bit rushed/cheap as well. Look at the pooling and awkward attachment points. Anyway, I found this interesting and worth sharing. 💃🏻, Brad

@Melinda Lewis thank you!!
Unsigned Weiss???
Hello everyone! 😊 I have noticed that some sellers list Weiss necklaces even when they aren't signed. Since I don't have reference books on hand, could anyone share some helpful tips or key features to look for to ensure a necklace is an authentic Weiss piece? Thank you so much for your help and expertise! ✨

I don't have a go-to reference for Weiss. The only time I'll list an unsigned Weiss as Weiss is if there is a dead match equivalent out there or I have sold the same thing signed before. Is there a Weiss guide book out there?
Tip Tuesday ☺️🐢
TL;DW (too long; didn't watch) - You don't have to be a know-it-all, and you (usually) don't have to apologize. Live streaming is about confidence + entertainment vs over-confidence + coersion. The meat and taters of it is this: there will always be viewers that know a bit more than you, so don't force it. Stay light, sell beauty and design, flex a little bit of knowledge when you know you have it, and then don't apologize for the asking price. The asking price is ALWAYS a bargain!! (Sales 101) I hope you have an awesome day and I *HOPE* to be live tonight. 💃🏻🎈 Fondly not written without the assistance of AI, Brad Video 👇🏻

@Faith Danbrova well said, you don't want to leave your customers with any fleeting impression that you don't buy well, or since you pay just a little bit too much, then your customers need to pay JUST a little bit too much as well. It's a bad look.

Hi Friends! I was told these are a book piece (what book I do not know?) - She mentioned Schreiner or Schiaparelli, i've done the reverse images searches but that's not coming up with anything. Any way of telling? TY so much! xo

I don't recognize those backs as Schreiner and the mixed elements/design doesn't 'feel' Schiaparelli to me. I take home a whiting and davis vibe, especially with the back construction. I'd sell them as unsigned beauties and hope to get $10-15 on a quiet day, $25-30 if I caught a wave.
TIP TUESDAY = LIVE LAUGH LOVE?!
This tip goes hand in hand with how I open a lot of my shows: "Remember, it's just jewelry and nothing is that serious!" And a quick poll: What jewelry designer do you dislike selling but grit your teeth and do it anyway? If your choice is not listed, post it in the comments below 👇🏻

@Virginia Stevans while I'm not a huge fan of 1928 designs in general, there are some exceptions and the resale market is surprisingly strong at the moment.
