@Erika Guerra they don’t have to be, so that is really a preference. The exam is essentially ‘open-book’ where you can complete it and the modules at your own pace.
BOC CEU Opportunity: Advanced Rehab Community by Dr. Tyler Lesher
Since the 0th Law is no longer eligible for BOC CEUs, I wanted to share this new opportunity for the ATCs in here who want the rehab side sharpened. Dr. Tyler Lesher just opened the Advanced Rehab Community. He's a performance therapist in Dallas who works with pro and college athletes, and it's built around live case breakdowns, not another video library. He’s the founder of the Advanced Rehab Certification. What's inside: - - Live calls Monday and Wednesday where you bring a real athlete and he works the case with you - A full recorded course library on advanced rehab and return to play - - Case submissions, so your athlete gets broken down on the call - - Direct access to Tyler between calls $249/year. Founding members get locked in at that rate and get the Advanced Rehab Certification (10 BOC CEUs) for free! Already ARC certified? 50% off ARC 2. If you have any questions, please message @Tyler Lesher. *Disclaimer: I'm not affiliated with ARC but think it's a great opportunity worth sharing.
BOC CEU Opportunity: Advanced Rehab Community by Dr. Tyler Lesher
Update: CEUs will become paid starting 7/13
After more than a year of offering the course and CEU certificates at no cost, I am thrilled that this project has grown to over 1,300 members and over 600 certificates issued. Beginning Monday, July 13, the CEU assessment and certificate will become paid. To obtain free CEUs, the assessment must be completed before this date. What this means: - The course content remains free and public - The assessment link will move behind the paid access area - Certificates will only be issued after paid assessment completion Thank you to everyone who has completed the course, shared it, and helped make thermoregulation a more practical conversation in sport and performance.

@Harold Abraham Joseph very cool and diverse background, great to have you here!

@Aaron Viscounte great to have you here with a background across all levels of the system! Although this course is sport-focused, plenty of relevance for industry and construction, especially heading into summer with OSHA's National Emphasis Program on heat illness and the proposed federal rule making (with some states already adopting full heat illness programs).
How often do you use palm cooling in training, competition, or recovery?
In Modules 8 & 9, we explore palm cooling in depth as an evidence-based cooling intervention to help mitigate heat stress, delay fatigue, and increase exercise capacity. While the research is compelling, adoption across sport and performance settings is still limited. Please take a moment to vote on the poll. If you're open to sharing more, consider responding to one of the prompts below in the comment thread. If you have used palm cooling: - What's your experience been like? - Any specific results, metrics, or lessons? - In what context do you use it - training, competition, recovery? If you have not used palm cooling: - Do you plan to try it? - What is the primary reason you haven't - access, awareness, skepticism, something else? Thanks for contributing to our collaborative learning process.
