5MEO-DMT Life Struggles
I have a question regarding the "work". I have sat with 5MEO-DMT about 10 times in the past 2 years or so. Beautiful, hard experiences. I have also done the low dose protocol which has been very beneficial as well. I feel like my life has gotten much harder because the ego is dissolving and coming back to old patters, people, feelings, etc seem to be triggering me and bring up old father wounds and past experiences. Any help on how to move through this difficult time? I am thankful for the work but it seems to be more difficult than ever at this point in my life.

@Kelly Allen Thank you. Yes, I have integrated alot after my sessions. I have a great facilitator and mentor that guides me in returning to life after such profound experiences. What I have noticed lately is that whatever I had stuffed down before in terms of trauma, pain, and uncertainty have been boiling up to the surface and I am feeling alot more and actually more triggered by family and certain situations I find myself in. Maybe it's because I am approaching life in a more conscious and authentic way and the old habits and patterns aren't working for my anymore. It can be quite the journey navigating through life after such impactful experiences with 5-MEO. I appreciate your response and will check out the links you put in your reply!

@Jackie Tileston Thank you and I agree. It definitely cracks you open in ways that I never would have thought possible. I have a great facilitator, mentor, therapist that I work with and is very supportive in my healing journey. I appreciate your reply and validating my feelings after these big experiences.

I have always gone back into my childhood as an adult and blamed my father for causing the trauma that has carried into my adulthood. After watching this video I can see that I am interpreting the past in my very narrow Lense and not looking at the big picture. It allows me to have more compassion and understanding for my father's shortcomings.
