@Michael MacKrell it went really great! Client ended up adding another acre of clearing to the job. I ended up putting about 41 hours of seat time into the job when I estimated it would take about 32-36, so an extra half day to day. Not bad for my first stab at it. Looking back, what slowed me down wasn't really vegetation. It was terrain. There was a creek running the length of the property that you could not even see because of the brush. It had very steep 5' sides, like a little Grand Canyon. So, I had to creep up the the edge on both sides for 350 yards to keep from dumping my machine in the creek. Very tedious. Then, the last acre add-on was so incredibly undulating. It looked like a moon scape, so I couldn't just let the machine eat. Had to come at things from 3 different angles sometimes. All that being said, I still managed to run about an 83% margin on the job after fuel and depreciation expenses (not counting my time lol), and got lots of good b reel for FB ads. The client was completely ecstatic with the results. I've sent him one google review request, which he hasn't filled out yet. If I can get that, I'll consider it a total win for my first job. Any tips on how to gently nudge for a 5 star review?

Gatormade is solid. I run a dual 8k axle that was updated to 17.5k GVRW. Does fine with my 265 XPS, shearex HM-60SR and root grapple. I think Gatormade has moved toward three 7k axles vs 2 8k axles, but seems like that would be even better weight wise. Don't know about any practical issues the three axle thing might cause.
