The end of apps?
Today, my son and I were exercising together and we needed an interval timer. When I opened mine, it offered me a yearly subscription for $19.99. I took a screenshot of the interval timing that I needed, copied it and pasted it into Claude with zero instructions, and in less than a minute had a fully functioning app inside of Claude! In the future with AI, we’re all going to have all the apps that we need totally custom for us built inside our own AI assistants.

That's a quantum shift....wow. Is that because Claude is able to write code once it simply sees something? i'm too old for this S. lol

Years you say. Last June Chat couldn't read a pdf. Now in Claude I just drag multiple pdfs, some with pictures, some with math tables , and it makes my flyers with headshots and 3-2-1 buydown figures in 30 seconds. It'll happen pretty fast!! One thing I have noticed in general with this. So much AI chatter about this and that and taking over...yada yada. But in real life, when 3 other people in my company are basically doing the same project with flyers, they ALL come out differently because the person interacts differently with their AI. In other words, interestingly enough, the personality is NOT removed from the end product. That is super relevant to the conversation I think. When I realized that, I have started making cartoon strips with Claude, because if I think it's funny, and I can't draw...go Claude! (they still may not be funny, but it's cool nonetheless)
