My wife was upstairs today and sat down to play some Aerosmith on the baby grand. So I picked up a bass and started noodling around to remember the bass parts. It’s been a long time.

One of the things that has hindered my posting of videos featuring my playing (yeah, I know. It’s scary) has been the perpetual lack of available memory in my trusty iPhone 11. It seems no matter how much I delete, there is still never enough available memory. Living in lack is not my idea of a good time, so the next phone will have 256GB of memory. That should give me a fair shot at actually posting something besides stills.

Anyone who has read my posts has probably already figured out that my brain is always grinding away at solving some problem that probably doesn’t need to be solved. It never shuts down. At 2:00AM I can hear it whirring. Pitch black. Dead of night. Doesn’t matter. How can I monetize this and become a billionaire? 😁

Hey folks, I’m all caught up in getting a replacement car right now as well as running my business. My wife smacked a fallen tree a few weeks ago and disabled our only vehicle. She was unhurt, thankfully. I’ve so many music projects on the back burner right now, some playing, some equipment maintenance, some new building projects that are a couple of years behind schedule. I’m still managing to sneak in some noodling when the stress starts to creep in. I really appreciate all of your responses to my posts. There is connection there that I haven’t consistently had since I walked away from the 40+ hour job scene back in 2011. We had a good crew there (engineers and PhD researchers) but the Senior corporate management was totally disconnected from our reality and the market we were trying to address. I’m rambling. How has your music helped you keep it between the lines in your life journey?

What do you prefer? I honestly like using a DI box and routing through my rack and splitting out to my Marshall for a cool blend. I've been told it has Richie Blackmore vibes.
