I’ve looked at the books for a lot of entrepreneurs and small businesses. I’ve seen all sorts of messes, mistakes, and unexpected issues. And one thing I’ve learned is that every situation is just a little different. That means when you take on bigger projects, there is almost always going to be some uncertainty. Sometimes I have to give a quote without seeing the full picture. Sure, I could spend hours reviewing, diagnosing, asking more questions, and trying to uncover every possible problem before giving a price. But eventually, you have to make a decision. You give the quote. You trust your experience. You trust your skills. And you trust yourself enough to know that even if something unexpected happens, you’ll figure it out. Could you underprice the project? Absolutely! 😂 I've done it. Most entrepreneurs probably have. But that's part of how we learn. You finish the job. You look back at what happened. You figure out what you missed. Then the next time, you price a little better, ask better questions, build a better process, and become more confident in your judgment. Confidence in business isn't knowing exactly what's going to happen. It's knowing that when you don't know exactly what's going to happen, you have the ability to handle it. Uncertainty isn't always a sign that you need more information. Sometimes it's simply time to trust yourself and move forward. What’s something in your business that you’ve had to learn by simply making the decision and figuring it out along the way? Let’s start Doing Business Right! DBR
