Netanyahu: Toppling Iranian regime is Israel’s ‘central mission,’ goal ‘within reach’
Live Update From the Liveblog of Thursday, September 3, 2026 By Stav Levaton 3 September 2026, 9:19 pm Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel’s “central mission” is to topple the Iranian regime, declaring that the goal is “within reach,” during a Rosh Hashanah toast with the IDF General Staff Forum in Tel Aviv.“The regime is now faltering. It is weaker than ever. It is fighting for its survival,” he says, crediting Israel’s military operations since October 7, 2023, with ebbing the Iranian threat.“I am confident in our ability to remove this threat once and for all – in other words, to topple this regime,” Netanyahu says. “That is the central mission that still lies ahead of us, but it is close. It is not impossible. It is within reach.”“It is no coincidence that they are not attacking us. They are attacking everyone except us. They know our strength, the force of our blows and our determination,” he adds.In a warning to Israel’s enemies, Netanyahu says, “Don’t mess with us. If you have learned anything, don’t mess with us. We have the strength, the determination and the internal unity to defeat you.”Netanyahu’s remarks come after Defense Minister Israel Katz warned earlier today that if Iran attacks Israel, the military will target all of the regime’s infrastructure, “including energy infrastructure.”

Very good to read that, thx for sharing Joseph!
Raul Castro has died this morning
A very reliable source I have In Cuba has shared that Raul Castro died this morning though it’s believed the regime will wait and set up a plan on how and when to give the news. The beginning of the end for the regime, the beginning of a hell of an eternity for that MF

He is not worthy to rule anyone, not even the worms in his grave.
This is fine.
A joke for when (it seems that) the world is burning.
This is fine.

@Jewish Samantha I love that you collected all of these jokes! I especially liked the second last and the one before that with them holding Einstein LOL! 🤣 I laughed a second time with that 1/2 joke when I saw that the result is actually 1/2 but the way they got there is crazy!
Some general feedback to you all as fellow community members
I wrote about people insulting each other here. It seems things became better, I hope so. It is a shame if drama can take too much space here, it's a waste of time and energy and we have more important things to talk about. If that stays so is up to everyone. I do not think my advice is necessary anymore, as it was all very common sense for any mature person, so I've archived this post.

@Midori Tengu OK then I misunderstood my bad! You mean it as a metaphor, I get it now. That is interesting. So it's important to be careful who you let come close.

@Cathy کاترین Yes it was a good discussion, thanks everyone!
A detailed view of the new Middle East
A very good view of the new Sunni axis between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Turkey. They also want to add Egypt. This axis supposedly is help to each other if they are attacked. Plus Pakistan has full nuclear status. They will be able to help the Saudis to also go fully nuclear after Trump gives them the basic nuclear technology for home use. In addition, Turkey is part of NATO, so if they get into a war with whoever, they will ask NATO to come help them. https://www.facebook.com/share/v/19ELz7L6BU/?mibextid=wwXIfr

@Joseph Dabby Thanks Joseph for taking my comments well. I do agree with what I believe you imply with this message: that this agreement between these countries could lead to trouble sooner or later, because all of these countries do not have the best track record. But let's hope for the best!

@Joseph Dabby I was referring to the Sunni countries. But yes the NATO countries did the same. I am living in the Netherlands and I am ashamed for our woke government. But don't worry there's still a lot of people in the Netherlands and I assume in other NATO countries that are pro-west, pro-Israel and pro-USA. Hopefully we all get the chance to vote soon!
