⚔️ how can I make this better ⚔️
Morning lads! I’m trying to think of new ways to make this platform better. I honestly have no idea where to start right now, besides what I’m already working on. Does anyone have any ideas? Here’s a couple ideas off the top of my head but please write in the comments if you want to see something in the future.

I appreciate the input and the feedback brother. Thank you 🙏🏼 As for the novelty chasing and busyness, it's not always such a bad thing, it's most likely derived from a strong sense of curiosity and eagerness to see what you can achieve and do and how far you can push your own limits. You said so yourself, you trained for triathlons, that's no easy thing. But when it becomes who you are, and you let it overrule your own judgement and need for restoration and recovery, it becomes less of a curiosity thing and more of a coping mechanism—because we feel like that is who we are now and if we aren't achieving that higher level of output then we are ultimately failing. But it's far from the truth, you can still be busy and chase novelty, but restoration needs it's place as well—just as your'e already figuring out. Keep it up homie, i'm here to chat whenever you need. And i'll continue providing value for you guys however I can. Talk soon.

🧠 Eating For The Brain 🧠
Lads, I’ve been guilty lately. I’ve been massively overindulging in food, especially carbs and not eating anywhere near enough protein these past few days. And as a consequence my brain fog, and food cravings have been turned up to the max. Do I feel bad? Not really. I have moment where all I want to do is eat, and usually, I just let myself indulge. Why the fuck not? Food is a wonderful thing, and if you are strict on it 100% of the time then that’s just no fun at all is it. That’s no excuse to be a freak and eat your way into paralysis, but you can enjoy something other than the norm every once in a while. My weekend consisted of instant noodles, ice cream, chocolate, massive serves of potatoes, homemade pancakes with chicken and cheese, about 15 banananas covered in honey and a shitload of boiled eggs among other things I managed to forage 😂 I felt like a potato later which was expected, but I also didn’t have any serious thinking to do. I also backed it up with a long walk and a solid home workout. So if you’re trying to earn incredibly strict every moment of every day, that’s fine, but also understanding when to place your meals and on what days you can indulge so you don’t interrupt your brain when you need it the most is just as important in my opinion. For me, weekdays are locked in, I eat low carbs, high protein and when I do eat carbs it’s after all of my cognitive work is done and around my workouts. Then on weekends, I’ll indulge a little. This weekend was a bit of overkill. But it is what it is, and I enjoyed it. This might not be the best approach for everyone, but for me it works, and keeps me satisfied with being so strict throughout the week. Obviously if you’re trying to lose weight don’t go and eat all of your progress away on the weekends. But also don’t be so strict on yourself to a point where the discipline becomes something you hate—because that’s when things begin to crack under pressure. Indulge a little, eat the ice cream! Have the pancakes! But back it up with a solid week of good, strategic eating the next week and know when to put the brake on so you don’t spiral.

@Turner F We’ve got this in the bag brother 👊🏼 You’ve been putting in the work and putting the small things into place to build the foundations which is going to set you up perfectly for the next phase. You’ve already said you sleep is feeling better, and you are still exercising, working, and living a high demand lifestyle. And we have only made such minor changes, the caffeine being the most impactful, and the awareness of what you need right now is this phase is right up there with it. There is nothing in this world that will stop you from achieving your goals man. You have the capability, and the work ethic to make anything you desire a reality, I’ve only seen a glimpse of your life and I can tell you are worthy of everything you desire. Keep putting in the work my bro, keep that level of awareness about yourself and with that if you keep up the mindset that I’ve come to know you to have, you cannot and will not fail. You’re a very kind and good man, and I mean that. And that always gets rewarded. 🙏🏼 Here with you every step of the way my bro. Have a good day.

@Jonathan Fong Definitely achievable bro. Life is definitely a lot less enjoyable when you’re constantly on the move working and keeping yourself busy. After all happiness is found in the present, and if our schedule is so stacked to the point we don’t have time to slow down, we tend to miss out. It just comes down to taking those moments to be mindful, bring yourself back to the present and ground yourself without the noise or pressure of needing to always be on the go. Easier said then done when you’re working two jobs though. Just gotta make sure not to overwork yourself. If you need rest, rest. And you feel good, push. We will look at this and pull it apart more when we do your next plan 🙏🏼 Thanks for the comment bro. Keep showing up for yourself in the ways the YOU need to. Don’t forget to take time for yourself and what’s important to you and with that you’ll be on your way to achieving those goals real soon.
