Sometimes You Need To Step Away (Calvin Did!)
I really loved this video because I think this is something a lot of us need to hear, especially when you spend so much of your time building a business and community you genuinely enjoy being part of. Stepping away can be hard. Sometimes it isn’t even because you feel like everything will fall apart without you. You just actually like what you do and the people you get to spend your days with. But I loved what he said about the difference between what you want and what you need. Sometimes getting away from your normal routine gives you the chance to realize how much you actually love the life you’ve created. You notice what you miss, what you’re thankful for, and maybe even some things you want to do differently when you get back. I think we all need moments that remind us how much we have to be grateful for currently, even when we aren’t exactly where we want to be yet. There was also something really interesting happening with his communities while he was gone. Normally they get around 3 to 5 new trial members a day while actively promoting, but while he was on the Camino and doing significantly less, there were days they got around 15 new members. That doesn’t mean stepping away magically grows your community or that will happen for everyone... But it is a pretty cool reminder that sometimes the work you’ve already done keeps working even when you aren’t sitting there actively pushing it forward every day. If you’re an entrepreneur who has a hard time taking a break from your business, I think this is worth watching. Maybe it's not a full 10 days. Maybe it starts with 1 day a week being just for you. We missed you on Skool, @Calvin Hollywood! Thank you for sharing this real video and reminding everyone that it's okay and they have permission to step away for a bit. Keeping your flame through all that walking is some commitment 😅

Want To Share A Gold Nugget From Skool Games Q1 (2026)?
We are going to be going over a recap specifically for the recording of Skool Games Q1 (2026), because it was so good that it was worth it's own show! We are putting together the parts that stuck out to us, but if you have time stamps or gold nuggets you took away from it OR even better something you'll be doing differently because of it.. Drop them below! We'd love to highlight those!

Skool VAT Update for European Members | Higher Price at Checkout
I want to give you a heads up on something you may start noticing, especially if you have members joining from Europe. Some European customers will now see VAT added at checkout. This can make the final price higher than what’s shown on your About page. For example, someone might see $199, but when they go to pay, the total is higher based on their country’s tax rate. The percentage is not the same for everyone. You might see 19%, 20%, 21% or other variations depending on where the customer is located. This is happening because Skool is acting as the merchant of record, which means they are required to collect VAT for many EU customers based on the customer’s location. As Andrew Kirby shared: “Your new customers will have this information on their invoice. Previous customers won't show VAT on them because Skool is responsible for VAT on all those existing payments and was paying for it out-of-pocket while we setup our system and registered for sales tax collection in the EU.” 📣 A few important things to know: This applies to EU customers, not all of Europe UK customers are not affected in the same way This applies to new customers going forward The VAT will show on their invoice Previous customers will not suddenly see VAT added to past payments The tax is based on the customer’s location, not yours This is not an extra fee being taken from you The main thing to be aware of is the buyer experience. If someone expects one price and then sees a higher total at checkout, it can create confusion or hesitation, especially if you are marketing with phrases like “ONLY $199” and that is not what they end up paying. Nothing you need to change right now, but it’s worth knowing so you are not caught off guard if someone asks. That is why I'm making this post. 👇 Have you had any members mention this yet?
