🔵 THE 8-WEEK HEAD START CHALLENGE
Starts Monday 26 October. Finishes Sunday 20 December. ⠀ Everyone else starts in January. You'll already be eight weeks in. ⠀ 📋 WHAT IT IS → An 8 week training program built for your level → Tested in person before we start, retested at the end → A step challenge and a training leaderboard → A cash prize pool → Results night in January ⠀ 🏆 THE PRIZES Three of them. One for steps, one for the trainerize challenge leaderboard, one Coach's Award for the person who shows up the way everyone wishes they did. ⠀ The step prize only unlocks if the whole group hits our step target, so you'll be pushing for each other, not just yourself. ⠀ 📅 WHY NOW AND NOT JANUARY Because January is the worst time to start. You're starting from scratch, in the busiest month, with every machine in the gym taken. ⠀ Start now and January is the month you're already fit, already in a routine, already holding a result. ⠀ 🎁 ALSO RUNNING RIGHT NOW There's a box at the front desk of both clubs. Drop your name in and you could win 8 weeks of coaching with me, free. Drawn Sunday 11 October. ⠀ ✅ HOW TO GET IN Spots open Monday 5 October. Comment "IN" below and I'll message you the moment they do, before it goes public. 🌟More details to come including: → The prize pool → The rules of the challenge → How to win and how to increase your chances of winning

🏃 PARKRUN — EVERY SATURDAY
We're kicking off community events and parkrun is first up. ⠀ It's free, it's 5km, you can run it, jog it, walk it, or talk the whole way round. Nobody cares how fast you go. That's the point. I also haven’t run since I hurt my back so you better know I’ll be running slow haha ⠀ I'll be there every Saturday. It's going in the calendar so you can see it and plan around it. ⠀ 📍 THE DETAILS ⠀ → Gawler parkrun → Every Saturday @ 8am → Free, just register once at parkrun.com.au and bring your barcode (screenshot works) → Stick around for a coffee after ⠀ 👋 SPECIFICALLY CALLING OUT ⠀ → @Cobain Bradley (I know you can’t this week but I’m still calling you out) → @Cathy Pank → @Colleen Lowe → @Kelly Dunstan → @Tamika Heath → @Jack Ouwejan → @Harry Stevens That’s the few I have off the top of my head because we actually spoke about it but I’ll be tagging more people in the comments below 👇🏼 You lot are in. I've decided. Comment below and let me know which Saturday you're starting. ⠀ Everyone else, you're just as welcome. Bring a partner, a mate, the kids, the dog. The more of us there the better it is. ⠀ See you Saturday. 💪

🏆 MID WEEK WINS
Wednesday. Halfway point. Drop your win below. A win is anything that moved you forward, not just the flashy stuff: → Got to bed instead of scrolling → Steps up on last week → Backed yourself in a session you used to avoid Post yours in the comments, then go read a couple of others. Half the value of this group is seeing what everyone else is quietly getting on with. And if this week has been a mess so far, say that... but still give us a small win. Three days left is plenty to turn it around. Your turn 👇

This week I have hit my step target, with my steps hitting close to or over 10k for the last 4 days. I have also finally been able to hit the gym for a 2nd session for two weeks in a row, aiming for a 3rd session this week.
Introducing Myself
I keep reminding myself that I need to introduce myself and need to hold myself accountable, so I am biting the bullet and doing an intro post. G'day, I am Cameron, or Cam for short. I am from Freeling which is on the outskirts of the Barossa, about 10-15 minutes away from Gawler. My fun fact is that I am currently in my last semester of Uni doing an Arts degree, with no real future plan on what comes after (I just wanted to learn Japanese). I am currently working on improving my overall health, wellbeing, habits and mindset. Eating healthier, getting into the gym more, constructing healthy habits and breaking bad ones, and improving my energy, accountability and focus levels. My fitness goals is to put on muscle and tone up, improving my posture and core, while also eating more. One thing I am excited about in the next 30 days is to challenge myself to create better time management strategies now that Uni is back. Challenging myself to get into the gym while balancing work and class, and to remember to eat three meals. I look forward to seeing a change in mental focus and energy. Thank you for reading and look forward to meeting and interacting with everyone here!😄💪
