On the fly
"On the fly" in restaurants means that something is done quickly, right away, with no preparation. For example, We will make the food on the fly.== We will make the food immediately/right away. The first time I saw “on the fly” in a restaurant, I thought “fly” meant a housefly, so I took it literally and thought it sounded unhygienic.😅

Paying too much for bananas is bananas.
It means that paying too much for bananas is crazy/ridiculous/absurd/silly. This picture is from Canada supermarket "No Frills". Banana is like a bad word in some suitations. For example, go bananas — to become crazy or out of control. banana oil — old slang for nonsense or foolish talk. banana republic — a small, politically unstable country that is often dependent on a single export.

Get your fall fix
When I saw this advertisement at starbucks, I didn't know what's the meaning of it, even though I knew these four words individually. "Get one's fix" means to satisfy one's need or carving. For example, I need to get my morning coffee fix. == I need morning coffee to satisfy my carving. "Get your fall fix at starbucks" means that starbucks can provide a lot of drinks to satisfy your need in autumn.

Walk in one's shoes
Walk in one's shoes, means to experience the same situation and feelings as another person or understand someone's position. For example, You can't criticize her until you walk in her shoes.== You can't criticize her until you experience what she has been through.

Grammar is important, please pay attention to it. If I’m not mistaken, “walk in one’s shoes” means to show empathy.
Hell Together
This is from David Archuleta's new song, "Hell Together". "Hell Together" means sticking with someone through very hard, painful, or even disastrous circumstances. Like we will face the situation together, no matter how bad it is. When I first saw this phrase "hell together", I thought it sounded too negative. After watching the video and listening to the song, I realized that this song was written for his mother, who gave him encouragement and support when he came out as queer in 2021. It was very hard for him because he grew up in a very traditional religious family. David Archuleta recalled his mom saying, 'I don't want to be somewhere where my children don't feel loved and welcomed. And if you're going to hell, then we're all going to hell with you.' I am so glad that David expressed himself bravely, and he is lucky to have such a wonderful mother.
