My First 2k month...in month 4
Hi everyone. So I just wanted to pop on here at the start of October and share my experience. I joined Etsy on May 28th and uploaded my very first print June 3rd. June 17th I had my first sale. I followed the Printshrimp videos to the letter and haven't deviated from it at all. I have been documenting this on my tiktik (@Sidehustlemichael) and have between 450-500 prints uploaded currently. Month by month it has increased and in September I made just over £2000 in profit. PROFIT, not revenue. I spend between 20-30 hours a month on this. If you are on TikTok come over and follow and if not, feel free to ask any questions here, but to be honest, just trust in the process. (I won't be sharing my Etsy store before anyone asks!)

I’m off to rewatch the videos 😂 How do you create your listing descriptions? And have you had to change anything in particular for SEO? I’m only at the start of my journey and I’m not getting any viewings yet from Etsy.
Colours a lot darker than the listing image.
Hi all. I’ve had a message on Etsy about a large framed print I sold last week. They said that they were disappointed as the listing shows a mainly yellow artwork, however they have said it’s actually “very” orange in person. I’ve asked for pictures but they haven’t sent any yet. Where do I stand with this when I eventually get a reply? Do I just need to prepare myself to refund the full £60? That feels like a lot of money to be out of pocket when I’d hope that the physical prints are as true to colour as possible. Is this an issue with PrintShrimp/whoever printed it and can I claim my expense back at all? For reference it was a A3 frame in Satin, I don’t think satin would be responsible for such a difference in colour. Thanks all.

I'd first check your print file colour profile as RGB and CMYK can print differently. It could also be worth checking if the listing images are in CMYK or RGB as again, this can sometimes alter the colours on different screens. However, the best option is to go to PrintShrimp and work with them to diagnose the issue. If it's a fault their end they might be able to reprint for free.
Delivery Options in Etsy
How have you set up delivery in Etsy? I've currently got only the UK delivery set up, but unsure how to go about adding other countries, especially when the address for PrintShrimp is UK based. Any help appreciated :)
Question about listing schedule
Hi everyone, For some context, I started using PrintShrimp as part of a student project (basically a graded passion project). The project in question is selling my art on Etsy in the form of posters. Through the Classroom videos on here, and from what I've seen from other guides, posting as much listings per day seems to be critical for success in selling posters. However, as part of my project, I can only create products in which the entire illustration is done by me from start to finish (no AI). With this in mind, I can only create one listing every 2-7 days (depending on how complex the illustration is). I feel like my listing schedule is setting me up for failure. I'm not sure where to go from here, if there's anything I can do to help my situation, or if it's really even as big of a deal as I think it is and I should just continue what I've been doing. Any feedback would be really helpful here!! :)

I love that your doing this as part of your course. Don't worry about quantity, just focus on producing illustrations that you love. Obviously there is a balance, but i think your originality and a bit of marketing on the right platform will be key to your success. You've got a great opportunity to film the process, which customers will like. You could look at offering a limited number of prints per illustration to make them feel more premium. I'd also think about taking one illustration and finding away to create multiple products from it. It could be printed on to different products like posters or a t-shirt OR can you take small elements of your illustration/style and create a mini series with it. Customers could buy one small print or a collection of six for example – without seeing your designs I can't see if this would work, but it's all about thinking outside of the box! Good luck. Please share your shop when it's ready :)

I have my first five listings up. I want to change the banner, but that is for another day. Please go check it out and let me know if you have any feedback :) https://www.etsy.com/shop/PeachyDaysKeepsakes?ref=seller-platform-mcnav#about
