THE LONE WOLF — YOU CAN’T OUTRUN YOURSELF 🐺
THE LONE WOLF — YOU CAN’T OUTRUN YOURSELF 🐺 I spent most of my life wanting to escape. I wanted away from people, away from the noise and away from everything that seemed to want something from me. I could be standing in a room full of people, smiling, talking and pretending I was part of it, when really all I wanted was to get away and be by myself. But here’s what I never understood. When I finally got away from everyone, I still wasn’t alone. My head came with me, and fuck me, it was loud. I was tired, but not the kind of tired that sleep fixes. I was tired of thinking, tired of feeling, tired of being needed and tired of pretending I was okay when half the time I didn’t even know what okay was supposed to feel like. For years drink shut it all up. When the drink went, I found other ways. Work, my phone, keeping busy, helping people, always being needed. Anything that meant I didn’t have to stop long enough to sit with myself. For years I thought the world was exhausting me. What I didn’t realise was how exhausted I was from trying to escape myself. That was my cage. Nobody had locked me in there. The truth is, I didn’t even know I was in one. Then eventually I stopped running. Not because I became spiritual or suddenly had life worked out. I was just tired. I couldn’t keep running anymore. So I started sitting still. And when I did, feelings started coming up that I’d spent years trying not to feel. Sadness, fear, loneliness, love. Some of it I couldn’t even put a name to. Then I became curious. What is all this? What have I been running from all these years? And who the hell am I when there’s nowhere left to hide? That’s why this quote means so much to me. No amount of distraction can reconnect us with ourselves. Eventually the Lone Wolf has to stop running. Eventually you have to turn around and meet the one person who has been there through every single bit of it. You. Maybe that’s where the journey home really begins. 🐺 Charlie Morrison Master Recovery & Wellbeing Coach

💚 84 PEOPLE. ONE FRIDAY NIGHT. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY! 💚
💚 84 PEOPLE. ONE FRIDAY NIGHT. ONE INCREDIBLE COMMUNITY! 💚 84 people turned up tonight for our Friday night We Do Walk & Talk at the Tees Barrage! 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️ The nights are getting darker, the temperatures are dropping, but the connections, friendships and community spirit just keep growing! ❤️ 84 people choosing to get out of the house, meet new faces, catch up with friends, share a conversation and enjoy being part of something bigger. And that’s what We Do is all about. No pressure, no judgement, no expectations. Just ordinary people coming together, looking out for one another and building a community where everyone belongs. Whether tonight was your first walk or you’ve been with us since the beginning, thank you for being part of this journey. We’re not just walking anymore. We’re building a movement, one conversation and one friendship at a time. 💚 🌳 WE DO – FIND FRIENDS. FIND COMMUNITY. #WeDo #WalkAndTalk #TeesBarrage #StocktonOnTees #Community #MentalHealthMatters #FindFriendsFindCommunity

THORNABY — THE NIGHT 21 PEOPLE CHOSE CONNECTION. 💚
THORNABY — THE NIGHT 21 PEOPLE CHOSE CONNECTION. 💚 21 people came out on a Monday night. No big stage. No pressure. No judgement. Just people walking, talking, laughing, listening and spending an hour around others who simply get it. That’s what We Do is becoming. A place where you don’t need a reason to turn up. You don’t need to explain yourself. You can just come as you are, walk beside someone and be part of something. Because sometimes the biggest change starts with something as simple as getting out the house and putting one foot in front of the other. 21 people. One Monday night. One growing community. 💚 Find friends. Find community. #WeDo #Thornaby #WalkAndTalk #Community #Connection #MentalHealth #Recovery

FROM A SMALL WALK… TO 143 PEOPLE TONIGHT. 💚
FROM A SMALL WALK… TO 143 PEOPLE TONIGHT. 💚 Me and Charlie were talking at the start tonight about just how much this Walk & Talk has grown. What started as a simple idea has turned into something much bigger than either of us imagined. Tonight, even with the dark nights setting in, 143 people still turned up. People walking. People talking. People making friends. People finding somewhere they feel they belong. That is what this has always been about. Not numbers for the sake of numbers. People. Community. Connection. And seeing 143 people out there tonight reminds us just how far this has come. WE DO. 💚

26 PEOPLE AT THORNABY TONIGHT 💚😂
26 PEOPLE AT THORNABY TONIGHT 💚😂 Another brilliant Wednesday Trail & Talk in Thornaby with 26 people joining us — and honestly, it’s been a proper laugh from start to finish. Walking, talking, taking the mick out of each other, meeting new people and just enjoying being together. That’s what these nights are becoming. No pressure. No judgement. No need to be anything other than yourself. Just turn up, have a walk, have a chat and maybe have a good laugh while you’re at it. 😂 Massive thank you to everyone who came along tonight and to Sprouts for continuing to build this with us. 26 people. One community. Plenty of laughs. We Do. 💚
