Also newsletters go out every Sunday night, if you are not receiving them make sure to go an check your spam. You don't want to miss out on a free newsletter. And on that note I'm off to bed, I have an early start tomorrow and daylight savings in freaking me out like it does every year.

Aussies Don't Forget to Put Your Roosters Forward
Daylight saving starts tonight in Australia. Not all states have daylight saving, some are a bit smarter than others, but for the following states you will need to put your rooster forward one hour. • New South Wales • Victoria • South Australia • Tasmania • Australian Capital Territory (ACT) Having the rooster forward one hour will hopefully alert all the other farm animals to the humans weird sense of time.......

School Holidays in Australia
Hopefully everyone is surviving the school holidays! I have to work in my day job for several days this week and also 3 days next week, but I also have lots to do! Kids might have to earn their keep. I'm also looking forward to getting to Floriade in Canberra before it finishes! I need another day in each week to get to everything.

Imagine!
If you had to start over with only $1,000, what would you invest in first?
If you had to start over with only $1,000, what would you invest in first? I could easily spend $1K on fencing tomorrow and fruit or nut trees would be next Let me know which one is it for you?

drainage~ no roof gutters; rain garden berms not in place yet...because of other daily chores and making sole income (for now ~:-), as home is over 120 years old all contours head to the house and chookshed...and the chookshed slopes back from the door >_< I'd hire someone to redig my trenches, put in swales, and then I would cement/mulch/plant up as needed

that does sound stressful; meanwhile yes the infrastructure, boring in some ways but saves so much time and monies along the way. uni finishes next week and I'll have more energy and time to ...shovel hahaha
Quieter Q4, lining up the next 5-day challenge
I - tidied part of the pantry (mine is a walk-in as I sequestered one of the bedrooms) - gathered enough fresh eggs to ferment them this weekend - bought potting mix for my seeds...and the 1 year old pup decimated the bag to fertalise the lawn - sorted the 'lid bin sanctuary' and snaffled two ginger wine bottle lids to for the one-day vinegar (other lids to recycle bin)
