This “weeks” win. Those of you that participated in group and/or 1:1 coaching will get this. :P this one is mine.
I found my journal entry from when I was first united with my whole self. Back in November 2021. Just like we all did in our sessions. This work is truly magical and we’re JUST getting started. This IS The Connection Code and we’re doing it together. So excited for our upcoming next round starting 9/23. Can’t believe I’m sharing a journal entry but again, those have you that have worked with me will get what this feels like.. bliss. Pure bliss. Self care needs a rebrand. It’s not something outside of us. It’s the ability to downshift our nervous system in REAL time using the tools shared here so we can simply rewrite, return and reclaim who we came here to be. So honored to BE here with you all.

This weeks win!
“Feeling really good! This 2 mins 3 times a day is a winner” Thats what my Rachelle said in the final stretch of her 12-session program. Last session she came in depleted. Two house moves in two weeks, a family bereavement, her daughter’s health still being monitored, and the mental load of back-to-school prep all landing at once. She was running on urgency energy. That “I’ll rest when it’s all done” frequency that never actually leads to rest. Her homework was simple: two minutes, three times a day with her True Self. Or one longer date with her. Meditation, breathwork, a walk — whatever she would choose, not what the to-do list needed. She texted me this the next day Meditated. Did breathwork. Sat in her hammock. This is the work. Not the dramatic breakthrough. The quiet rep. The moment you choose yourself in the middle of the chaos instead of after it. The nervous system learns by frequency and consistency — not intensity. Two minutes three times is more powerful than one hour once, because it rewires the default. She’s building a new pathway. One hammock moment at a time. Next rewiring 12 week session begins Wednesday September 23rd. What are you waiting for?! Book a call here to see if its a fit for you: https://calendly.com/melissasonners/1-1-call-with-dr-melissa-sonners

This week's client win 🔥
One of my clients, Cory, was going into a session with a really high-profile client of hers... and old patterns were creeping in. Deferring. Shrinking. Over-accommodating to keep the peace instead of standing in her own authority. Instead, she showed up as herself. Fully. She walked in wearing her Air Jordans and just... danced. No apologizing for taking up space. And it completely shifted the dynamic. He met her as an equal. Respected her more, not less. And it's opened the door to a real opportunity for her business. This is exactly how it works. When you regulate your nervous system and stop performing for approval, people don't respect you less — they respect you more. That's the whole foundation of what I teach in the Connection Code book: your presence is the thing that changes the room, not your performance. The next group rewiring container opens mid-September — details coming very soon. In the meantime, if you want to start doing this work now, grab the book here: https://beehive.drmelissasonners.com/the-connection-code/

✨ NEW FREE TRAINING: One-Minute Nervous System Resets & Opportunity to WIN!
For years I kept hearing the same advice: “Fill your cup first.” And honestly? It used to make me want to scream. At the time I was raising three young kids, running businesses, trying to show up for everyone… and wondering WHEN exactly I was supposed to find an hour for myself. What I needed wasn’t another morning routine. I needed something that worked in the middle of real life. In the school pickup line. Between patients. While making dinner. After a hard conversation. When I had 60 seconds before walking back into the chaos. So I started creating tiny nervous system resets that could help me shift my state in one minute or less—because that was the time I actually had. Those simple practices became some of the most powerful tools I teach today, and they’ve become one of the most requested resources in our community. 💛 I’ve put my favorite One-Minute Nervous System Resets together for you, and I can’t wait for you to experience them. Here’s your challenge: 1. Watch the training. 2. Try one of the resets. 3. Come back here and leave a comment telling us: Which reset you tried. How you felt afterward. Where you think you’ll use it most in your everyday life. 🎁 The first TWO members to complete the challenge and leave a thoughtful comment will receive a complimentary 1:1 Connection Clarity Call with me. Because here’s what I want you to experience: You don’t need a perfect routine. You don’t need another thing on your to-do list. Sometimes the smallest shift in your nervous system changes the entire direction of your day. I can’t wait to hear which reset becomes your favorite. 💛 Here she is! https://www.skool.com/beehive-3675/classroom/5a00d3ba?md=f1009b0276e544998833c63bf63d9243&fbclid=IwVERDUATXDqxwZG9mBWZkaWQWULeceFeiDOF5UcW7z_nFjgCTcBT1sGV4dG4DYWVtAjExAHNydGMGYXBwX2lkDzE3Mzg0NzY0MjY3MDM3MAABHp6E2ASAgi1ABRQcLnvER-qGX2Tgcb4AJxvGwfORhZ7-96CtMWChH6iFeUeg_aem_niDtHtuEKAb7dNHnEBHdqA

@Melissa Sonners thank you for sharing these quick exercises that can be implemented in 1 min just about anywhere. This is truly very practical and much appreciated! I’ve been doing the ear tugging while I’m on long work zooms and driving. I’m definitely going to use the breath work + humming the next time I need to grab one of these tools! ✨💖✨

Happy to be here and to be a part of this community. Enjoying reading Dr Sonners book so far and a life long learner. My name is said with a soft Ch(like a Chardonnay 😉) I’m a single mom, raising two beautiful and strong daughters. I live in west Michigan and find that for the past few years my biggest issue with down regulation comes when I’m living out of alignment with my unique, personal needs & values. Some seasons it’s not as easy to live in alignment when we are responsible for people other than ourselves- and we are “doing/working” to pay the mortgage, food, all the extras we want to provide for our families etc….I know it’s a season, yet it still gets me off track more than I'd like to acknowledge or admit sometimes. So the thing I try to remind myself of every day is that I am loved, there is plenty of beauty around me and in my life, even among the struggles and 5 min of centering myself in any difficult moment can be enough 💖✨🙏 Thank you for bringing this forward and sharing your work Dr Melissa ☀️

Yes, the ability to down regulate in any moment; most definitely the inner work & a work in progress. Looking forward to practicing the tools you’ve shared & simplicity is something to be grateful for, now more than ever ✨💖🙏
