Just read the first two chapters- LOVE the format, Tamsin!! It really flows well and looks great on the page, making it fun to read. I am enjoying having a little deeper peek into your earlier life and thinking how it influenced you...and then, it gets me curious about my own and that perhaps its worth spending some time reflecting on it. I had a huge grin on my face as I read "Good Design" ...like a spider spinning a web, or a bird weaving a nest. It should use what is around and disappear into the fabric of a place." That has always been my aspiration as an architect, and when I am teaching, I present it as understanding context. This is SUCH a more elegant and simple way to explain it! Zookeepers: Loved the info on giraffes- fright of heights and the mental thing of just putting a step- "What mental tricks are keeping us stuck..." BINGO- you nailed it. This is something I have been looking into and thinking about over the past year. Can't wait to read more!
