The "S-KEY" toolbar i Solidworks!
I just learned about the S-KEY in Solidworks! Helps me a lot when sketching and makes everything go smoother and faster! Any tips to what commands to include in the "S" toolbar for quicker modelling?

Hii @Katerina Jensen , if you like S key then you will also like D key for closing sketches. > When the sketch is complete and you are about to close the sketch then press D the close sketch button will appear near mouse , click it and you can quickly again press S key so that you can operate sketch based features like extrude, revolve etc.
Tips and tricks!
Hello my fellow community members! may i ask you for some tips in solidworks or some common mistakes people can make?

Sure here are some mistakes that I was doing when I was beginner. First auto constraints in sketch> you see when we free hand skechting some times we ignore the sketch relations that automatically places themself. So we need to pay attension when we do complex sketches 2.While using sketch based commands like extrude, revolve sweep, loft and boundary make sure to use them and see if your bodies are merged or not. You see when we merge bodies while doing multiple extrusions I had a habit of merging bodies using combine feature but it will be a whole lot easier if you just merge them while doing it. 3.Some of my students were not technical so they were doing it > you see while choosing our first plane for the sketch is very important as you can make the whole thing upside down or just wrongly rotated if your first plane is a wrong one, and sketch is not drawn at the origin (the red mark) make sure to keep the origin at the center of your part , that way your part is center and it will be whole lot easier for mirrors and patterns. 4. Changing the name of the parts after using them in assemblies. Always go to windows explorer select and right click the part , go to solidworks > rename and then rename it so it will be changed in all the assemblies and drawings.
Driven dimensions
Hello guys, I have 2016 version of solidworks at my workplace. And when I create sketches and input dimensions while creating Sketch entities it gives driven dimensions. How to make it driving? I have to delete them every time or giving it later by smart dimensions and it is slowing my sketch making speed. Please help me guys. .

@Jason Young this is what I am talking about. Whenever I draw something it's dimensions becomes driven. Now I have to give dimensions every time seperately. Or uncheck the driven box in dimension properties.

File conversion
Hello friends I am working with solidworks assembly that I converted in parasolid file and it won't open in other software until all parts were converted.
