@Antonio Cent Karaoke was a mixed bag. Bon Jovi and Def Leppard are pretty much my sweet spot and my first song, Def Leppard's "Let's get Rocked" went really well. A cute blonde sitting in front, who got into most harder rock songs tonight was getting into it, too, so that's a win. My second song, Bon Jovi's "In these Arms" was a song I'd never performed before. I knew it, but never practiced it to the point of being performance ready. Turns out it's one of the few Bon Jovi songs that don't have the diaphragm for. It got the obligatory golf clap at the end, and if I'm being honest, that's really all it deserved. I have so many better songs that I could've done. Even doing a lesser known, but more rocking song like Def Leppard's "Women" would've gotten that blonde pumped, and doing Bon Jovi's "Living on a Prayer", "You Give Love a Bad Name" or "Bad Medicine" would've brought down the whole bar. That's not even the first time I've picked an inopportune time to test a new song. There's always next weekend. New vinyl acquisition today:
