Let's Make Healing Fun Again
Healing doesn't have to be a slog. It doesn't have to be 'work'. It can be courageous, curious, exciting and exhilarating. Check out this YouTube Live that I did on this very topic and lemme know your thoughts.

Don't Trust your Truths
I had an awesome conversation with a friend and of course, non-coincidentally the same thing came up that I just posted about on IG the other day around: Not Trusting Your Truth. To be clear, I do believe Trusting ourselves and our Souls is one of the highest forms and signs of healing, as well as one of the highest conditions of our relationship with ourselves. However, not all truths are to be trusted, while they may be honest, the place from which they're coming still may not necessarily be true, as in categorically, absolutely, written-in-the-fabric-of-the-universe true. My friend put it brilliantly, don't believe everything you think. The voice that says to just have one more drink, cookie, hour of sleep - don't trust it. The voice that says the other person is out to get you and trying to sabatoge you - don't trust it. The voice that says your Mom and Dad hated you - don't trust it. The reality is - most of the voices we hear in our heads, and thoughts and think, and feelings we feel, are coming from a deeply wounded place within our ego that abides by and is founded on scarcity, shame and separation. Therefore, the thoughts it thinks and the beliefs it believes is just untrue. Stay savage! Stay Wild! Keep exploring.

Stillness: The Path to Your Pain
One of the primary principles and values here in this community as we explore the Inner Wilderness is Meditation. And this morning for my meditation. I stayed in one place for 30 min. But GAWDDDD DAYUMMMM did I fidget my way through it. I can't help but think that incessant movement, even action, but especially fidgety-ness is our bodies unconscious attempt at avoiding pain. Why do we avoid pain? My opinion is that we're pre-occupied with performing perfection so we can be loved and accepted have our pain soothed instead. Just my thoughts. What do y'all think?

Greetings Fellow Savages
I say savages because to go inward and face ourselves is the most courageous and savage thing we can do. Check out the various definitions from Claude: --Historical/Colonial — A person considered primitive, uncivilized, or outside "polite society." Deeply tied to colonialism and used to dehumanize Indigenous peoples. Largely considered offensive in this context today. --Literal/Wilderness — Someone who lives outside civilization; feral, untamed. Shares a root with silva (Latin for forest/wild). Moral — A person of extreme cruelty or brutality. "He fought like a savage." Adjective (intensity) — Fierce, harsh, unrelenting. "A savage storm." "A savage review." --Slang (modern) — Someone who acts with zero filter, no fear of social consequences, or bold disregard for what others think — usually used as a compliment. "She said exactly what everyone was thinking. Total savage." Internet/Gen Z — Extended the slang meaning to include brutal honesty, epic comebacks, or doing something impressively reckless. Often used admiringly. The word has essentially flipped in casual use — from the worst thing you could call someone to a term of respect for authenticity and fearlessness. In a world where people are constantly drawn outward to the newest and shiniest dopaminergic distraction staying focused on ones self and their personal responsibility to themselves, their Soul, their family, their community, and the larger more-than-earth community is the most savage thing to do. It says 'FUCK THE SYSTEM' I'm doing it my way. The way of my Soul. According to my own Truth. Following my own compass. Stay Wild. Be Savage.
