Let's make this happen! What is your one thing for this week?

Something that was brought up on the call today was what is being used for editing and, how much editing are you doing? What I'm finding that is working well in my space (GenX/Boomers) are first of all, one-take videos. I don't edit anything into or out of my videos (and I do receive comments about this). Yes I leave in flubs. I do use a teleprompter. Second, I use Descript and yes, I use their Ai (Underlord) for editing. I use very simple commands: - edit out the silence at the beginning and end of the video - add captions - and sometimes, I do ask it to add transition text when I'm shifting key points (however I prefer to have it just overlay the text at that moment on the video) - the key is, it finds the transition points, confirms them with me, then overlays the text. I don't have to go search through the audio line to find and do it myself. - i also have it give me seo friendly youtube chapters that i put into my youtube description - yes i realize i can get those automatically from yt but, i prefer to see what descript can pull up based on my transcript and i prefer to push back on the seo friendly (essentially i have it give them to me, i question it, it self analyzes, it gives me it's version, i review and edit for the final version). I launched my YT for this business in late March and I knew going into this that I would NOT be editing - I just wanted to create the content and move on - leading me to hold back launching because I did not want to edit - I hate the videos with lots of motion graphics, I hate videos with ai imagery, etc. And frankly, for me, it's a time choice. 2026-08-06 The meeting says it's live. My zoom says the host has joined, but I'm not in the call. Is there something I need to do?
