How does everyone keep their machine stable, keeps it from slipping and jerking.

@Paul Brown Sentro . The suction cups just don' t suction that well. I have tried a plate of glass on my table.

How to keep knitting machine from slipping or jerking. Keeping it stable.
Suggestions for how to keep my machine from slipping or moving while I'm using it. The suction cups and/or tacky strips do not work. The shaky, or jerking caused slippage in stitches.
