Greetings, brothers. I wanted to open a conversation around something we explored during the Air Element training: the beliefs, stories and identity structures shaping the way we experience ourselves and the world. We spoke about how beliefs become filters. Over time, repeated thoughts become stories, stories become identities, and those identities begin determining what we believe is possible for our lives. Here’s just a few that I’ve had to deeply examine: - I have to hold everything together for others - My worth comes from what I achieve. - I cannot let people see me struggle. - I am responsible for everyone around me. Many of these identities were built during moments when I needed protection, belonging or approval. They may have served once. Yet as I evolved, the structures that once kept me safe became the very walls keeping me confined. Part of becoming an integrated man is developing the awareness to question the identities we have inherited, performed and unconsciously reinforced. So I invite you to reflect: What belief, story or identity structure are you currently dismantling? Where did it come from? How has it shaped your choices, relationships or leadership? And who are you becoming as you release it? Share whatever feels alive for you below ⬇️ Your honesty may give another brother permission to see something within himself.
